FADL-I-OMAR COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT SHINES AT NAIJA QUIZ-DEBATE COMPETITION ORGANIZED BY GALAXY TV

On Friday, 20th June 2024. The student of Fadl-i-Omar Comprehensive High School participated at the Naija Quiz-Debate Competition organized by Galaxy Television was held on with ten secondary schools drawn from various parts of Lagos.

The event was an engaging intellectual contest which featured two main segments—a debate session and a quiz session, held in rounds between two competing schools at a time.

The Principal along with a teacher accompanied the students to represent the school.

The atmosphere was highly competitive, yet inspiring, as each school displayed great enthusiasm and brilliance.

We are proud to report that the students performed exceptionally well in all the rounds. They secured the first position in the debate session, confidently defending their points with clarity and passion.

In the quiz segment, our students came second, narrowly missing the top spot.

At the end of the entire competition, our school was ranked second overall, based on combined performance in both categories.

The participants demonstrated excellent preparation, composure, and teamwork throughout the competition, making the school proud and setting a fine example for their peers.

We sincerely appreciate Galaxy TV for this remarkable initiative and for providing a platform that encourages academic excellence and public speaking among students.
