Practical Exposure to Power Resources in Nigeria: A Field Experience.

On March 13, 2026, our Year 11 & 12 Geography students visited the Egbin Thermal Power Plant for an exciting learning experience.

🔹 Students explored how electricity is generated using steam-powered turbines
🔹 They toured key sections like the turbine hall, control room, and transmission area
🔹 Gained real-world insight into how power is supplied across Nigeria
🔹 Learned the importance of energy production to national development

This educational trip brought classroom lessons to life and deepened their understanding of Power Resources in Nigeria.
