There’s something special about a story being read aloud.

The pauses, the voices, the way every word settles; softer, deeper.

And in that moment, it’s no longer just a book, but something shared.
A memory in the making.

That’s why we created The KLF Middle Grade Mentorship Program, a space where children can learn, create, and tell their own stories.

Registration is still open, and slots are limited.

Parents, click the link in our bio to register your child, and don’t forget to share. 😊❤️

This month, we journeyed to Northern Nigeria through the pages of A Durbar Festival for Hassan and Hussaina, written by , illustrated by , and published by .

The story beautifully introduced us to the beauty of the Durbar Festival through the eyes of children. Hassan and Hussaina did not want to remain mere spectators; they wanted to become active participants in the celebration.

Driven by curiosity, they put on their thinking caps and came up with a plan of their own. Although things did not go exactly as they expected, they still managed to create a festival that became memorable in its own special way.

You can always join us every month as we explore beautiful and exciting stories like this together.

Last year, we marked Children’s Day with a special storytelling experience for our kids, filled with live readings, games, and creative corners.

We also had an illustration workshop led by young artist Faridah, where she guided the children step by step in drawing a human figure, helping them express themselves creatively.

This year, we’re getting ready to create new memories with something exciting. Stay tuned!! ✨
