WHAT DOES YOUR CHILD NEED ?

Parenting is an institution, with different stages and classes.
Making decisions and embracing changes as we learn and unlearn.
Sometimes you ask yourself , am I doing the right thing ?
Let's run through this together .

A family whose child I taught about 12years ago reached out to me last week, and ask that they would like to have a meeting with me🤨 (Consultation),meanwhile they are pastors . I arranged for yesterday. On our meeting, I discovered they had another child after they had sealed up the deal of making babies 😅. God pass everybody 👌!
They narrated how the little angel has been fairing and they weren't getting their desired result (Academics ).
The guy runs extra classes from Monday - Saturday , yet there is just a little difference in the output 😓. I asked them what exactly they are expecting from the chap ? Their vision for his life ? Who is this guy ? Where does his strength lies , his weaknesses ? And finally , what did God say about him ?

On the spot I drafted a questionnaire, and I asked they do a thorough check and send to me 📌

How effective is running extra classes through out the week for kids ?
Considering they take classes in the morning, do compulsory after school which is now almost part of 99% of most school in Nigeria , and still take lesson from Monday - Saturday.

INTRODUCTION :
Children are naturally imaginative. They create stories, role-play situations, and sometimes speak about “invisible friends.” In secular psychology, invisible friends are often viewed as harmless imaginary companions that help children develop creativity, language, emotional regulation, and social skills.
However, from a Christ-centred perspective, parents, teachers, and caregivers must carefully distinguish between healthy imaginative play and spiritual confusion. Children are spiritually impressionable, and whatever repeatedly shapes their thoughts can influence their beliefs, fears, behaviour, and understanding of God.
This discussion explores invisible friends from both secular and biblical viewpoints while distinguishing them from the person and work of the Holy Spirit.
