Yesterday, we had an explosive session with Coach Wale Adejuyigbe Adewale Joseph on Effective School Staff Practices.
The following truths were reinforced:
❗ We're not teaching until we start learning.
❗ Learning is beyond borders.Don't restrict your learners.
❗ Having practical abilities and experience is often more valuable than having formal educational qualifications (Skills over degrees).
❗The real world learning is about preparing learners for life beyond the classroom which entails:
Learning by doing,not just memorizing
Connecting lessons to real life problems and situations.
Building practical skills like critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity.
Helping learners adapt to a fast changing technology driven world.
Equipping our teachers through trainings help them to understand that every child is not the same and learning styles differ.
This will enable them to work well with every child in their care.
