Three weeks ago, we launched the Future Pathway Program with a simple but powerful goal, to equip secondary school students nationwide with the knowledge, skills, and exposure they need to make informed decisions about their future.
Today, as we reflect on the journey so far, we are encouraged by the enthusiasm, curiosity, and commitment shown by the participants. Over the past three weeks, students have engaged in meaningful learning experiences designed to broaden their perspectives, strengthen their confidence, and introduce them to opportunities they may not have previously considered.
At PATHE Initiative, we believe that many secondary school students do not lack potential, they often lack access to information, mentorship, and guidance. The Future Pathway Program was created to help bridge that gap.
As we move into the next phase of the program, our vision remains clear:
âś… To help students discover their strengths and interests.
âś… To expose them to diverse career and higher educational pathways.
âś… To build critical life, leadership, and digital skills.
âś… To connect them with mentors and role models who can inspire their journey.
âś… To empower them to make confident, informed decisions about their future.
By the end of the program, we hope every student leaves with greater clarity, renewed confidence, and a practical roadmap for achieving their goals.
Through the Future Pathway Program, we are committed to helping secondary school students take the first steps toward building the future they deserve.

As part of our ongoing effort to inform the public about the mission and vision of our initiative, We visited schools across Benin City, Edo State.
Our first stop was Avatars Academy where we delivered an interactive presentation focused on career development and planning. We encouraged to think critically about their future, understand the importance of making informed academic choices, and explore the different pathways available to them after secondary school.
The session also served as an opportunity to introduce students and staff to the Future Pathway Program(FPP) which we would be starting next week.
With this program, we aim to support secondary school students by providing guidance, mentorship, and exposure to higher education opportunities that can help them make confident decisions about their education and future careers.
The students responded with enthusiasm, asking thoughtful questions and showing strong interest in the initiative and the programs that will be introduced in the future.
Following the student session, We met with the School Director of Avatars Academy to discuss possible areas of collaboration. The school expressed strong support for the initiative and appointed a liaison officer who will work closely with the PATHE team to coordinate future activities and programs within the school.
We proceeded to High Towers School, where we met with the school’s principal. The principal warmly received us and expressed a positive disposition towards the initiative. He also indicated the school’s willingness to participate in the program and suggested that communication continue during the holiday period to ensure proper planning ahead of the next academic term.
These visits mark another important step in PATHE’s mission to empower secondary school students with the knowledge, guidance, and support they need to plan their futures with confidence.
As the initiative continues to grow, we remain committed to building strong partnerships with schools and providing meaningful opportunities that help young people discover their potential and pursue their goals.
We look forward to reaching even more schools and students in the coming months as we continue to expand the PATHE Initiative across Nigeria.

What do we do at PATHE?
At PATHE (Promoting Access to Higher Education), we turn potential into opportunity.
We support students with the tools they need to succeed through guidance, mentorship, and practical learning experiences that go beyond the classroom. From building critical thinking skills to preparing for higher education pathways, our focus is on real, applicable growth.
Everything we do is rooted in one goal: making higher education more accessible, more inclusive, and more achievable for everyone.

Why does PATHE Initiative exist?
Because potential is everywhere but opportunity is not.
PATHE (Promoting Access to Higher Education)was created to bridge that gap.
Too many students have the ability to succeed, yet lack access to the right guidance, tools, and support systems to turn that potential into real outcomes. PATHE exists to open doors that might otherwise remain closed.
We equip students with practical skills, critical thinking, and create clear pathways into higher education and beyond.
Not just to learn but to apply.
At our core, We are about fairness, access, and empowerment ensuring that where students start does not limit where they can go.
We are more than an organization. We are a pathway to growth, purpose, and impact.
