Yinka Ogunde was a renowned Nigerian educator, entrepreneur, and education advocate who passed away on April 5, 2026. She was the founder and CEO of Edumark Consult and the Concerned Parents and Educators Initiative, and had made significant contributions to Nigeria's education sector. Ogunde was known for her work in education marketing and advocacy, and had helped over 6,000 educational institutions improve their productivity and learning outcomes ¹ ².

She was also a certified coach, trainer, and speaker with the John Maxwell Team, and had organized Africa's largest education event, the Total School Support Seminar and Exhibition (TOSSE). Ogunde's legacy extends beyond education, as she supported over 1,000 students in low-cost schools and trained nearly 5,000 teachers through her initiatives ¹.
