Jesus –Our Joy.

Dr. Ben carson once shared while growing up, His Mother did not have money, their lives were full of Problem, yet their Mum was ever joyful, singing hymes and sold out to worshipping God even when he never understood why.

We live in a time of uncertainty, where result are almost unpredictable. Salaries can no longer meets one's needs, incomes are not coming in as suppose, and even if it does. An Unforseen chaos that surface in the middle of the month that takes away. Death,Sickness, Dissappointment from people, Failure from systems, and More seat to steal our joy every now or then.

This can built anxiety, and depression in the life of a believer. Yet, Apostle Paul Calls us to Rememberance "Rejoice in the Lord Always, again I say Rejoice!" (Philippians 4:4) Rejoicing which is the re-enacting of Joy, the outburst of the inner basking. Knowing that Having Jesus is Everything.

“If we have everything but don't have Jesus we have nothing. If we have nothing but we have Jesus we have everything.”

It more than a Feeling, It's an understanding that possessing Jesus is what more than gold and silver or any material possess and this is the real Joy that the world cannot take away from you.

"I've told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I have conquered the world." (16:33 msg.)

Jesus let us know that this world cannot give true joy, but has comfort us even in our grieves, through the Holy Spirit. Jesus helps us live everyday with purpose and hope.

Prayers:
Jesus you are worth more than the treasures of this World to me. So irrespective of what I don't have, i am comforted, because you are my chief Joy.

It is all about Jesus

Do you remember when the Children of Isreal were about to take over jericho and posses the land God had promised their fathers?

He gave them an instruction through Joshua their leader

"And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it. But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the Lord: they shall come into the treasury of the Lord." Joshua 6:18–19( KJV)

Sadly, Some one went against this instructions from God and brought God's judgment on the nation, family and himself. Achan had saw the gold and treasures of jericho thst he said there too precious to be destory or given to the Lord, so he converted it for himself.

As we talk about finance this month, it is important to understand that the first reason Godvis giving us access and opportunities for wealth is not for us.


We must consecrate our heart and desires and ensure that material blessings do not become idols. Everything we have is given to us by God to steward, and we must be ready to give it to Him anytime he makes a demand.

We have the tendency to forget easily where were before God raise us, our new status and financial increase can fill us with pride–The arogancy to share in God's glory–Which is what goes before a fall.

Beloved, this is a call to recall is not never about you, but all about Jesus.

"You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today."

A MESSAGE TO THE WORLD

Jesus didn't just sent us on the goal, he gave us a gospel, a Word for our world.

Our World is a desperate time, daily disasters, the Climax of chaos, things seems to the getting worse every single passing second.

Turning on the news might give one a heart attack; the killing, stealing, hating, fighting, detrayals, family issues, health challenges, financial struggles, business challenges, career etc.

The Goodnews is Jesus is the Answer. God did not leave us to fugure life all these by ourself. When Adam Sin and this brought the curse on the earth which is root cause of every chaos on the earth today, God crewated an alternative plan for mans salvation which is Christ. He gave us his only Son, Jesus as the ramson for the sins committed by men.

Just like it was Prophecy in Genesis, that the Serpent will burst the heel of man but the seed of Woman will bruise his Head. This was what Jesus Did on the Cross, He was Wounded and bruised for the sins of man, died but Resurrected om the 3rd day as a Victory over Satan, Sin and Death. Glory To God.

Now man can now live forever in Christ. Everyone who believes in Him has received eternal Life.

This is the Goodnews everybody Must Hear.

That Man can Live Forever, Live above Sin and in total victory over Satan, Sickness and the slavery of poverty.

We have This Message to Tell to the World. and somebody out there is waiting to hear this waiting to hear this message from You.

You must be intentional to preach and Disciple people into this new life. Glory to God!

Live A honourable life.

Scriptures calls you a city on the hill. This implies as a Believer your life should be standard people see and desire to immulate. The way you live, they way you conduct yourself, the way you speak, dress, and the result you command should be extra to the ordinary life, and unsual to the ones people are used to. Sadly many believers are living beneat their potentials.

They struggle to meet earns means, join others in corruptions, suffer like unbelievers, and die like mere men although they have the God life inside of the them. Although resurrection life is at work in them yet things dies in their hand. This kind of ordinary life cannot draw anybody to Jesus.

If we must truely live and draw men to Christ then we must live a life of honour. The word honour could mean distinguished life. A life of honour is the one that is praise worthy, inspire imulation and cause the nations to seek our God (Psalm 45:17).

"And Jabez was more honourable than his brethre" 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 (KJV).

Let Delves a bit into the How of Honour.

1. Have a Mentality of Honour.

"Let this mind be in You which was in Christ" Phi 2:5

Honour is first a mindset before it becomes a life style. You must be able to say to yourself "this is the life I want to live" before you manifest it. A man who does not know he is in honour cannot attract honour.

Rejecting honour is not humility. It is just a function of your Mentality that is absolutely abstract from depth of honour God has placed on you and kind of life God expect from you.

2. Honour has a conduct. 2 Timothy 2:20–23.

Honour has a manner. Anytime you uncode its conduct, whether unknowingly or knowingly you will attract it and the producers.

3. Be God personified.
The level to which you carry and exhit God–in presence, power and Principles is the level Honour can come to you. The Queen of England once said she dies not fear the armies of England but she fears the prayers of John knox. Carry God!

Love is a beautiful thing, but Marrying the wrong person would be the worst thing that can would happen for the rest of your life.
