Remember Chandler? She spoke with us a while back about issues that matter most to her. She reflects on the importance of voting, having your voice heard, and the role democratic participation can play in creating change. And, about the stereotypes she encounters and how they shape everyday experiences.

Quite some time has passed since then, so we “digitally” sat down with Chandler again to hear how her views have developed and what these topics mean to her today. Until then, you can revisit her previous stories and discover more videos on the Stories that Move website, our YouTube channel, or the STM website.

Join our webinar for World Refugee Day!

World Refugee Day takes place annually on June 20th. To mark the occasion, the Anne Frank House is hosting a webinar one week prior to explore how to implement our online toolbox.
This session will feature the lived experiences of young refugees from Stories that Move.
Our goal is to enrich your teaching, foster empathy for refugees, and deepen students‘ understanding of the complex challenges involved in resettling in a new country.

In this webinar, the aim will be:
- to help teachers and other educational professionals to discuss topics related to refugees with their students.
- to get to know the stories of young refugees.
- to learn how to use the online toolbox in the classroom.

A while back, we shared three videos offering a glimpse into Jac‘s world, where she opened up about her Jewish identity and her journey with activism. She explores the potential of democratic participation, while also being honest about the hurdles she faces and the moments she feels restricted in her daily life.

More than a year has passed since then, so we sat down with Jac again to see how her perspective has evolved and how she views these topics today. Until then, you can catch up on her previous stories and explore more videos on the Stories that Move website or our YouTube channel or the Stm Website.
