Education is an adventure which only generates winners . What started as an educational experiment, has grown into an official honours programme.

We are a group of students, young professionals, lecturers and researchers who decided to embark on an adventure. We have learned from different cultures at the most uncommon places on the globe, we worked on social challenges and enjoyed practical cases in a wide variety of companies. Each year over 200 Dutch students, who search for additional challenges besides their studies, participate in thi

And, we're back! Some of us will enjoy Singapore for one more week (or even South East Asia for two months!), but for most of us normal life started again today. We had an incredible trip thanks to all the businesses, educational institutes, sponsors and participants. Soon an aftermovie will follow, and as a result we will publish a little book with our findings and thoughts on the trip.

We hope you enjoyed our posts via Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook, thank you for your support!

Today AirAsia brought us to Kuala Lumpur! We arrived in the afternoon and after a rushed taxidrive (and an immense culture shock for most of us, cars are 'near to accidents', because of markets 2/3 lanes are closed and there's cranes everywhere!) we arrived at the Royal Netherlands Embassy. Here we had an interesting talk about trade in Malaysia and a good laugh. Kuala Lumpur is completely different to Singapore and walking through the city this evening was some good reference material to place Singapore into perspective. Singapore is clean, easy to move around and perfectly safe (because of all the monitoring ofcourse). Kuala Lumpur though, is where we all feel most at home (not similar to most interesting!) It might be dirty, crowded and 'more happens here', but this city definetly lives!

This morning we went to the Lee Kun Yew Centre for innovative cities. The director, P**n King Wang, and two other members, spoke full with passion about the urban future of Singapore. We had lunch with Koen Meijerink, supply chain manager at Philips. In the afternoon we went to the Artscience Museum to visit the impressive exposition about Big Data, but some also went to Future World and Escher (yes our Escher!). After some fun in the sun we went for a final reflection, honours style. With dinner in little India our day was complete! Tomorrow morning most of us will head for a quick trip to Kuala lumpur, but some will enjoy Singapore even more! We'll keep you posted!

This morning we visited The National Institute of Education. This Institute, that educates teachers, is part of the NTU. Prof. Zachary, an American, told us a lot about the Singaporean educational system. After that we took a step in the world of Virtual Reality. Some PhD students of NTU (National Technology University) showed us some projects for children with special needs. By taxi we ended the afternoon at Nexus, an international school in Singapore. An impressive environment: open spaces, maker spaces, classrooms with musical instruments, art design labs. We also spoke with six Dutch children about happiness in live.

After our meeting over Blockchains yesterday, we went to visit Chinatown Singapore. In this long hall we payed a brief visit to another world inside Singapore. While enjoying a good plate of beef and rice combined with a good glass of tiger beer. We have closed off a hectic but interesting day.

Today education is filling our day. This includes a visit to the national institute of education, the Nanyang technical university and we end our day at the the Nexus international school.

A short headsup about our day, it's 1800 in Singapore and we are ready for our meetup event about blockchains!

This morning we visited Witteveen+Bos and we were welcomed with great hospitality. We had a fantastic insight in their works in South East Asia on Water Management and Urban Planning. This afternoon we went to Nanyang Polytechnic, School of Design. After an enthousiastic insight in Singaporean schooling systems and their struggle with the very different generations, we learned about the School of Design itself (a real eye-opener!).

We just had a philosophical break, and while being full of Aristoteles, happiness and Singaporeans we are now ready for this event!

Today was a fantastic first day! We started it easy with sharing our goals and browsing the city for a symbolic picture (which can be a real adventure if you go where you shouldn't and know there's cameras everywhere). We enjoyed a chaotic lunch and after that it was time for our first official visit! The Dutch embassy, where we were technically back home for 1.5 hour. It was a very interesting visit and the second man told us a lot about the Singaporeans and their lives and businesses and how to implement Dutch buisinesses here. We closed the day with our TechYourFuture evening, where we tried to work on a case while going into the Singapore Flyer (bigwheel), of course the sight won the battle and we finished our cases later on. It's been bedtime here, so we'll give you a Heads up tomorrow! More pictures and stories will follow later on!

Day 1: Let's get it started!
Our first day in Singapore we've started with a typical Vietnamese diner. Everybody was a little bit tired because of the long journey. But we're all in the mood for an unforgettable week!
