On 2083-02-04, Manmohan Technical University, School of Engineering successfully organized the Scholarship Honor Ceremony at the Office of the Dean, where students receiving Merit, Need-Based, and Partial Rebatement scholarships were honored for their academic achievements and dedication. The program became even more special with the presence of students’ parents, who proudly attended the ceremony and shared the moment of recognition. The Dean honored the scholarship recipients in the presence of the Head of the Civil Department and members of the university administration, highlighting the university’s commitment to encouraging academic excellence and supporting deserving students.

MTU Hosts International ERASMUS+ Blended Learning Evaluation Workshop

Manmohan Technical University (MTU) successfully organized a blended learning evaluation workshop under the ERASMUS+ project on May 7, 2026, at the MTU Conference Hall. The workshop welcomed Prof. Dr. Florian Schindler from Berliner Hochschule für Technik (BHT), Berlin, Germany, and Research Associate Friedl-Knirsch Judith from the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria.
The guests were formally welcomed by Dr. Rekha Shrestha, Dean of the School of Engineering, MTU, along with faculty members and students. The event was conducted under the ERASMUS+ project titled “Blended Learning Environments for Nepal’s Dynamic Energy Development using an Interactive Distance Learning Approach (BLENDED-IDEA).” The project is funded by the European Union Commission and aims to modernize engineering education in Nepal through innovative blended learning approaches, digital teaching platforms, and renewable energy-focused curriculum development.
During the workshop, the international experts conducted an evaluation session with students of the Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering program. Students actively provided feedback on the developed mobile application interface, digital learning tools, and curriculum module contents prepared under the project.
The guests also held an interactive session with faculty members of the Electrical Department of MTU. Discussions focused on the effective integration of renewable energy and sustainable energy development concepts into the university curriculum. The session emphasized the importance of interactive distance learning, digital pedagogy, and international academic collaboration in strengthening technical education in Nepal.
The workshop concluded successfully with active participation from students and faculty members, further reinforcing cooperation between MTU and its international partners in advancing quality engineering education and blended learning practices.
