Does anyone know if Dexcom g6 sensors actually expire? Had them packaged for 2 years but it says they expire in 1 year. Can’t see how it would expire though?

People ask me all the time, how do I keep my diabetes so well controlled?

And here half the answer to that question, along side my routine and habits - yes that’s a F***y pack. This is so i can test on the go all day long exactly when I need too. I like to test frequently around meal times and not as much inbetween. This is now a fine art as now I’m fully aware how different foods/macros and exercise effect my bloods for different times of day and so on..

This pack + my consistent habits allows me to

1. Keep my blood sugars between 4.5 and 7.3 all day long ( 1-2 Days per week I may drift slight higher than that or lower than that if my sleep was poor or I have a moment of “stuff it, I’m eating it” which we all do! 👀 )

2. Test if I’m out and about and not having to carry my case around which is annoying

Why do I do it?

1. Because my health, training and recovery is at my best interest, and I really couldn’t care less what anyone thinks. To me it’s fashion 😂

This is everyday life and the rewards and benefits far outweigh having to carry this thing around my waist all day. I can test whenever I know I need too.

I’m type 1 diabetic yes, but 90% of the time you would never pick it by looking at my blood sugars and my HbA1c. Or playing professional sports for that matter.
