The Bago City College Research and Development Office, together with the Community Extension Services Office, participated in the recently concluded Training Workshop on "Enhancing Competencies in Impact Assessment: A Core Group Training for Extension Program" among SUCs, LUCs, and Private HEIs held at SUNN Hotel, Sagay City, from August 13–15.
It was truly an insightful learning experience with high-caliber speakers. Kudos to the EMC NIR headed by Dr. Roger Ray Manzano, the chairperson, for successfully facilitating this event. The knowledge and skills gained will surely benefit the institution, both in research and extension.❤️❤️❤️

The Bago City College Research and Development Center proudly announces the 2nd Research Colloquium 2025, themed "Empowering Minds, Enriching Communities: Advancing Innovation Through Student Research."
This distinguished event will be held on May 30-31, 2025, and aims to highlight the role of student research in driving innovation and community development.

The Bago City College Research and Development Office, in collaboration with the Philippine Association of Institutions for Research, Inc. and the Association of Scholarly Editors, proudly participated in the International Conference on Higher Education Research 2025 held via Zoom from April 7–9, 2025. This prestigious academic gathering aimed to showcase the exemplary research outputs of both student and teacher researchers.
Representing Bago City College were Dr. Rosemarie L. Lagunday, Dr. Sandra E. Locsin, Mr. Anthony Malabanan, and Ms. Herlyn Sodario, all esteemed faculty members of the institution.
Special recognition goes to Dr. Rosemarie L. Lagunday, who co-authored a research presentation alongside Danica Rose Sueco, Harlene Angela Villan, Maricel Padriquel, Kaizer Eve Palermo, and Heart Nepunan. Likewise, Ms. Herlyn Sodario from the Criminology Department was also recognized. Lastly, Mr. Anthony Malabanan with his co-researchers,Jon Daniel A. Fortuno, Nikolai A. Lapatan, and Crez Rowell Dion A. Mustre. The three of them were hailed as Best Research Oral Presenters for their outstanding contributions during the event.
Adding to this proud moment, Bago City College was honored with the Conference Research Productivity Award, a testament to the institution’s strong commitment to research excellence and innovation.
