It’s giving... impact. 💅

A little dump of our journey through CDO, XU, and MOGCHS.

We started this advocacy to make skincare simple, and seeing you guys engage made it all worth it.

If you learned one thing from us this journey, drop a "✨" in the comments!

If you’ve been consistent with your skincare routine for 1–2 months and still see no improvement… that’s your first sign.

If your breakouts are getting worse after trying new products, not everything is just “purging.”

And if your acne is painful, deep, or you’re getting multiple pustules, don’t wait, this can lead to scarring.

Sometimes it’s not about trying more products, it’s about getting the right treatment.

Your skin deserves more so please consult your dermatologist! 🤍

Clear Skin at Home: Part 2

Want clearer skin?

Here are 4 easy tips you can start today to manage and prevent acne at home.

1. Eat Smart
What you eat affects your skin. Try to cut back on high-sugar foods that can make acne worse, like:
Soda and sugary milk tea
Candy and chocolate
Sweet snacks

2. Get More Sleep
Try to go to bed early. Sleep helps your body stay balanced and prevents acne triggers.

3. Don’t Pop
Never squeeze your pimples. It can cause infections, make the acne worse, and leave permanent scars.

4. Use the Right Products
For mild acne, stick to these basics:
Mild Cleanser: Look for one with Salicylic Acid.
Gel Moisturizer: Keeps skin hydrated without clogging pores.
Gel Sunscreen: Protects your skin without feeling greasy.

I hope these simple tips help!

Myth Busting: What common misconceptions do we need to let go of?
Home Care: How can you manage or prevent breakouts with the right habits and products?
Professional Help: When is it officially time to skip the DIY and see a dermatologist?
I hope this series empowers you on your journey to clearer skin!

Diet can affect how severe acne becomes.

Foods high in sugar and refined carbs (like white bread, fries, and sugary drinks) can raise blood sugar and insulin levels. This may increase inflammation and oil production in the skin, which can worsen acne.

Eating low-glycemic foods may help reduce breakouts, improve skin, and lessen the need for acne medications.

Wrapping up our school tour series at MOGCHS!

Our hearts are full. We set out to educate, but we've learned so much from everyone we met. This wasn't just about sharing a brochure; it was about starting a conversation.

So much gratitude to all the schools that opened their doors to the 'Acnew & Simple' message.

Is it genetics?
Is it stress?
Is it because I looked at a slice of pizza too hard? 🍕

Lowkey, it’s usually a mix of things.

Today we’re breaking down the "Why" so you can stop blaming your pillowcase for everything.

Understanding the cause = better results. Facts only. 🧢
