To abdicate is to renounce one's power, authority, or position. It is not defeat that's imposed by force, but rather, an act of willingly stepping down despite wanting or still having the right to stay.

But in the sense of the song, to abdicate is more than a simple withdrawal—it's the final act of a person who desperately tried to find reasons to continue, but unfortunately realized that there was nothing else left in the battlefield.

It's an abdication born of regret—not because they failed to fight, but because 𝒊𝒕'𝒔 𝒕𝒐𝒐 𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆, 𝒕𝒐𝒐 𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆.

Preparing on what's ahead

We make mistakes as we move forward, mistakes that for us is should not been made.
