Earlier today at 9:00 AM, the Tejero Thunder Scouts assisted in facilitating the Q2 Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill alongside the GSP members and SSLG officers.

The activity was organized under the leadership of School DRRM Coordinator Mr. Martin Librado, School Principal Dr. Neil Andrian A. Angtud, and the dedicated members of the Barangay Tejero and Barangay Tinago Emergency Response Teams.

Through activities like this, our Scouts continue to practice one of the core principles of Scouting—being prepared and ready to serve. We are proud to contribute to promoting disaster preparedness, safety awareness, and community resilience within our school.

This morning, our Scouts assisted in the conduct of the school's Earthquake Drill, helping ensure the orderly and safe movement of students and personnel during the simulation.

Leadership and Skills Training for upcoming set of Outfit Staff and Crew Leaders Day 1

Thousands of scouts from across the country are expected to converge in South Cotabato in 2027 as the province prepares to host the 19th National Scout Jamboree of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines.

The upcoming national event was announced by Governor Reynaldo Tamayo Jr. in a Facebook post after he attended the 69th Annual National Council Meeting of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines held in Cebu City, where he delivered the keynote message before scout leaders, council representatives, and delegates nationwide.

Governor Tamayo said the province is excited to open its doors to participants from different regions and showcase the beauty of South Cotabato, its rich culture and traditions, and the warm hospitality of its people.

The National Scout Jamboree is regarded as one of the country’s largest youth-centered gatherings, promoting leadership, discipline, teamwork, environmental awareness, and volunteerism among young Filipinos.

The hosting of the jamboree will not only strengthen youth development and civic engagement but will also provide opportunities to boost tourism and local economic activity as visitors explore various destinations in the province.

Gov. Tamayo also highlighted the importance of continuously supporting programs that help shape the youth into responsible, patriotic, and service-oriented citizens who can contribute to nation-building and community development.

🤝 Donation Drive Distribution for Fire Victims 🤝

Following the fire incident that occurred last May 16, 2026, the TNHS SSLG, headed by Venturer Scout and SSLG President Southlyn Roflo, conducted a donation drive distribution for affected students of Tejero National High School.

Together with them were the Tejero Thunder Scouts, who volunteered their time and effort in packing and distributing the donated goods to fellow students in need. ⚜️💚

In times like these, helping our community—no matter how simple the act may be—becomes a powerful reminder of what it truly means to be a Scout. A Scout is always ready to serve, especially during moments when others need help the most.

We commend all the volunteers who stepped forward and lived out the values of compassion, service, and unity. Your actions are a true reflection of the Scout spirit and an inspiring example for others to follow.
