Many Christians see angels protecting them and forget the One who commands them. Angels are messengers—they serve God, not themselves. God gives the charge, and through them, He keeps us safe. Imagine a child thanking the messenger while ignoring the parent who sent them. That is the spiritual misstep we often make.
“For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” — Psalm 91:11
“Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” — Hebrews 1:14
Trust the Lord fully. Every moment of protection, every deliverance, comes from Him. Angels are instruments, God is the shield. When danger passes or blessings arrive, lift your heart in worship to Him, not to the messenger.
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” — Proverbs 3:5-6
Even angels themselves refuse worship: “Worship God.” — Revelation 19:10
Give God the glory. He is your protector, your deliverer, your refuge. The angels are only the hands of His mercy.

“The Danger of Mormonism”
Mormonism speaks the language of Christianity but denies the heart of it. It redefines God, demotes Jesus, adds works to grace, and elevates human authority above Scripture. The Bible warns us: not every voice claiming truth is from God. Test every teaching by God’s Word, for salvation is in Christ alone, not in man-made traditions. Beware, and hold fast to the gospel that is ‘once delivered unto the saints.’”
📖 2 Corinthians 11:4, Jude 1:
10 Unbiblical Teachings of Mormonism — Examined by Scripture
“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”
— Isaiah 8:20, KJV
1. The Bible Is Not Complete
Mormon teaching: The Bible is only accurate in part and must be supplemented by the Book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price.
Biblical truth: Scripture is complete, sufficient, and inspired.
📖 2 Timothy 3:16–17 – “All scripture… is able to make thee wise unto salvation.”
📖 Galatians 1:8 – “Though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel… let him be accursed.”
2. God Was Once a Man
Mormon teaching: God the Father was once a mortal man who progressed to godhood.
Biblical truth: God is eternal and unchanging.
📖 Psalm 90:2 – “From everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.”
📖 Malachi 3:6 – “I am the LORD, I change not.”
3. There Are Many Gods
Mormon teaching: There are many gods, and faithful humans can become gods.
Biblical truth: There is only one God.
📖 Deuteronomy 6:4 – “The LORD our God is one LORD.”
📖 Isaiah 44:6 – “Beside me there is no God.”
4. Jesus Is a Created Being
Mormon teaching: Jesus is the spirit brother of Lucifer, a created being.
Biblical truth: Jesus is eternal God.
📖 John 1:1 – “The Word was God.”
📖 Colossians 1:16–17 – “By him were all things created… and he is before all things.”
5. Salvation Requires Works and Ordinances
Mormon teaching: Faith plus obedience, temple rituals, and ordinances are needed for salvation.
Biblical truth: Salvation is by grace through faith alone.
📖 Ephesians 2:8–9 – “Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
📖 Romans 4:5 – God justifies the one “that worketh not.”
6. Modern Prophets Can Override Scripture
Mormon teaching: Ongoing revelation from modern prophets can add or modify God’s Word.
Biblical truth: Christ and Scripture provide God’s final revelation.
📖 Hebrews 1:1–2 – God has spoken “by his Son.”
📖 Jude 1:3 – “The faith which was once delivered unto the saints.”
7. The God of Mormonism Is Different
Mormon teaching: God and Jesus are separate beings, with humans capable of becoming gods.
Biblical truth: Christianity teaches one God in three persons (Trinity) and salvation is by grace alone.
📖 1 Timothy 2:5 – “There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”
8. Man Can Progress to Godhood
Mormon teaching: Humans can ascend to become gods over worlds.
Biblical truth: Humanity can be redeemed, sanctified, and glorified—but never to equality with God.
📖 Romans 8:17 – “We shall be heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ.”
Heirs, not equals.
9. Jesus’ Death Is Not Sufficient for All
Mormon teaching: Rituals, obedience, and priesthood authority are required for salvation to be complete.
Biblical truth: Jesus’ atoning death fully satisfies God’s justice.
📖 Hebrews 10:14 – “By one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified.”
10. Heaven Is Earned, Not Gifted
Mormon teaching: Eternal life in the highest heaven requires works, faithfulness, and temple ordinances.
Biblical truth: Eternal life is a gift received by faith in Christ alone.
📖 John 3:16 – “Whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
📖 Romans 6:23 – “The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Powerful Conclusion
Mormonism uses Christian words but redefines: God, Christ, salvation, and Scripture.
Sincerity does not equal truth. The Bible alone is God’s authoritative Word, and Jesus alone is our Savior.
“Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?”
— Matthew 7:16
Stand on Scripture. Test every spirit. Trust Christ alone.

🌊 WHEN GOD’S CALLING IS GREATER THAN YOUR FAILURE
The Story of Jonah: Running, Rebelling, and Returning
📖 Main Text
Jonah 3:1
“And the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the second time, saying,”
✨ Introduction
Many people believe that once they fail God, they can never be used again. They think their mistake is too great, their rebellion is too deep, and their past is too shameful.
But the life of Jonah teaches us a powerful truth: failure does not have to be final when a person returns to God.
Jonah was a prophet, but he ran.
Jonah was called, but he rebelled.
Jonah was corrected, but he was restored.
God’s calling was greater than Jonah’s failure.
I. 🗣️ GOD’S CALLING WAS CLEAR
Jonah Knew What God Wanted
📖 Jonah 1:1-2
“Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it…”
A. God called Jonah with a command
God did not give Jonah a suggestion. He gave him a clear assignment. Jonah was commanded to go to Nineveh and preach.
B. God called Jonah beyond his comfort
Nineveh was wicked, violent, and difficult. Jonah did not want to go because the calling was uncomfortable.
C. God called Jonah for a purpose
God was not only dealing with Jonah. God also wanted to reach the people of Nineveh. Sometimes God’s calling is bigger than our feelings.
II. 🏃 JONAH’S FAILURE WAS REAL
He Ran from the Presence of the Lord
📖 Jonah 1:3
“But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord…”
A. Jonah chose disobedience
Instead of going to Nineveh, he went the opposite direction. Disobedience always leads us away from God’s will.
B. Jonah followed his feelings
He allowed fear, anger, and personal opinion to control his obedience.
C. Jonah’s failure affected others
Because of Jonah’s rebellion, the sailors faced a great storm. Sin never affects only one person.
D. Jonah discovered that running brings no peace
He paid the fare, entered the ship, and tried to escape, but God was still there.
III. 🌪️ GOD’S CORRECTION WAS MERCIFUL
The Storm Was God’s Way of Bringing Jonah Back
📖 Jonah 1:4
“But the Lord sent out a great wind into the sea…”
A. God sent the storm to stop Jonah
The storm was not just punishment. It was God’s mercy calling Jonah back.
B. God exposed Jonah’s condition
The storm revealed his rebellion, selfishness, and spiritual coldness.
C. God used the fish to preserve Jonah
The fish was not Jonah’s grave. It became his place of prayer and repentance.
📖 Jonah 2:1
“Then Jonah prayed unto the Lord his God out of the fish’s belly.”
Sometimes what feels like destruction is actually God’s rescue.
IV. 🙏 JONAH’S REPENTANCE BROUGHT RESTORATION
Failure Was Not the End
A. Jonah prayed from the lowest place
Jonah finally called upon God from inside the fish. When he hit the bottom, he looked up.
B. Jonah remembered the Lord
📖 Jonah 2:7
“When my soul fainted within me I remembered the Lord…”
C. Jonah surrendered again
Jonah stopped running and became ready to obey.
D. God gave Jonah another chance
📖 Jonah 3:1
“And the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the second time…”
The phrase “the second time” shows the mercy of God. God restored Jonah instead of replacing him.
V. 🔥 GOD’S CALLING WAS GREATER THAN JONAH’S FAILURE
God Still Used a Restored Man
📖 Jonah 3:4
“Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.”
A. Jonah preached the message
He finally obeyed the command of God.
B. Nineveh responded to the warning
The people believed God, humbled themselves, and repented.
C. God showed mercy to the city
Jonah’s failure did not stop God’s purpose. God still used him to bring a message that changed a city.
VI. 💡 LESSONS FOR US TODAY
A. You cannot outrun God
You may run from church, responsibility, calling, and conviction, but you cannot run from God.
B. Failure does not cancel God’s grace
God corrects His children, but He also restores those who return to Him.
C. God gives second chances
Jonah received the word of the Lord the second time. That is grace.
D. Obedience is better than escape
Running from God brings storms, but obeying God brings purpose.
E. God can still use broken people
A failed man became a preacher again. A runaway prophet was restored by mercy.
🎯 Conclusion
Jonah’s life shows us that God’s calling is greater than man’s failure.
He ran, but God pursued him.
He rebelled, but God corrected him.
He prayed, and God restored him.
He obeyed, and God used him again.
🔥 Final Challenge
Are you running from God’s will?
Are you hiding from God’s calling?
Are you ashamed because of past failure?
Come back to God. Failure is not final when repentance is real.
📖 Closing Verse
Philippians 1:6
“He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
🙏 Invitation
God is not looking for perfect people. He is looking for surrendered people.
No matter how far you have run, God can still restore you.
God’s calling is greater than your failure.

A wealthy father took his son to the countryside, hoping to show him what poverty looked like.
They spent a few days living with a humble farming family.
On their way back home, the father asked,
“How was the experience?”
“It was wonderful,” the boy replied.
“So, did you learn anything?” the father asked with curiosity.
The boy answered:
“Yeah… I learned that we have one dog, while they have many.
We have a swimming pool, but they have rivers that never end.
We light our garden with lamps, while they sleep beneath stars and moonlight.
Our backyard ends at a wall, but their world stretches to the horizon.
We buy food from stores, while they grow, harvest, and cook their own meals.
We listen to music on devices, while they wake up to birds, wind, and the sounds of nature.
We heat food in microwaves, but theirs is cooked slowly with love and fire.
We protect ourselves with locks, alarms, and fences, while they live safely among people who care for one another.
We stay connected through phones and screens, while they stay connected to life, nature, family, and each other.”
The father stood silent, deeply moved by his son’s words.
Then the boy softly said,
“Thank you, Dad… for showing me how poor we really are.”
The truth is, the farther we drift from nature, simplicity, and human connection, the emptier our lives become.

❤️🔥 WHEN GRACE IS GREATER THAN GUILT ❤️🔥
✨ The Story of Peter — A Powerful Lesson on Failure, Restoration & God’s Mercy ✨
📖 John 21:17 (KJV)
“Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee.”
Peter loved Jesus deeply.
Yet in one of the darkest moments of his life—
He denied the Lord three times.
The disciple who once declared:
“Though all men shall be offended… yet will I never be offended.”
Soon stood by a fire pretending he did not even know Christ.
But Peter’s story did not end in failure.
Because God’s grace was greater than his guilt.
😔 PETER’S FAILURE
✅ Bold in words
✅ Weak in fear
✅ Denied Jesus publicly
✅ Overcome by guilt
✅ Broken by conviction
Yet Jesus did not cast Peter away.
❤️ He restored him.
🔥 WHAT PETER TEACHES US 🔥
💡 Even sincere believers can fall
💡 Guilt can crush the heart
💡 Failure does not cancel God’s purpose
💡 Grace is stronger than shame
💡 Jesus restores broken people
📖 Luke 22:61-62
“And Peter remembered the word of the Lord… And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.”
📖 Romans 5:20
“But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:”
📖 John 21:15
“Lovest thou me?”
✨ GOD DOES NOT ONLY SEE YOUR FAILURE ✨
He also sees:
✔ Your repentance
✔ Your brokenness
✔ Your desire to return
✔ Your future in Him
Peter failed publicly—
But he also repented sincerely.
And God still used him powerfully.
💡 3 POWERFUL REMINDERS
✔ Failure is not the end when there is repentance
✔ God’s grace is greater than human weakness
✔ Jesus restores those who return to Him
❤️ JESUS STILL RESTORES ❤️
Some people live trapped by guilt.
They believe:
“God cannot use me anymore.”
But Peter’s story proves otherwise.
The same man who denied Jesus—
Later preached boldly for Christ.
Grace gave Peter another chance.
And God still gives restoration today.
✝️ LOOK TO CHRIST ✝️
Jesus knew Peter would fail—
Yet He still loved him.
Not because Peter was perfect,
But because grace is greater than guilt.
