DepEd Tayo - Youth Formation General Trias City

is a Mental Health and Psychosocial Support program for learners. This program's objective is to provide basic mental health and psychosocial support to learners by means of an online engagement activity. The Division Federation Supreme Pupil Government (DFSPG) will provide a regular online activity (on an every-two-week basis) to decrease learner's boredom, anxiety, and depression, and increase one's belongingness and improve social life. The DFSPG will also prepare and engage learners to fun activities such as art activities, storytelling, singing sessions, and the likes that will improve learners' mental health.

The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Youth Affairs and Special Concerns – Youth Formation Division (OASYASC-YFD), in partnership with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), will conduct the Pulse of the Youth: National Voter’s Education Campaign for the 2022 Elections on April 29, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. via the DepEd Tayo – Youth Formation official page.

This activity aims to educate young people about the election voting process and mechanics; highlight the importance of roles, responsibilities, and rights of young voters; and enhance the thrust for youth participation in the upcoming 2022 national elections.

LOOK : Youth Formation Programs Coordinators, Teacher-Advisers, and Officers from SPG/SSG, YES-O, and BKD successfully attended the second day of the YOUTH FORMATION PROGRAMS CONGRESS with the theme: "Re-orienting, Enriching, Sutaining Capacity of of Field Implementers", via MS Teams.

The first speaker of Day 2 was Ms. Maria Ellaine D. Grifaldo, the Project Development Officer 1 of Division of Dasmarinas City; she discussed the implementing guidelines of the Youth For Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) Program. Together with Ms. Maria Paula Aninao of Division of Dasmarinas to present the that help spread the advocacy in no to single-use plastic bottles anytime and anywhere. The second speaker was from the Division of Imus City, Mr. Josephus Perseus B. Banaag who discussed about the General objectives and the Roles and responsibilities of Barkada Kontra Droga, and the last speaker Ms. Digna D. Claveria, who shared her best practices in BKD Program implementation.

All participants enjoyed the session as it was very informative and full of learning.

This 3-day webinar is an anticipatory webinar as the schools are gearing towards the 100% implementation of face-to-face classes, and so, the implementation of different support programs like the Youth Formation Programs.

This program aims to discuss the policy guidelines and best practices of GPP, SIGA, Yes-O and BKD.

The first speaker of Day 1 was Mr. Domingo Milano, the GPP coordinator of GAMES; he discussed the importance and practical application of gardening in limited spaces. The second speaker was from the Division of Quezon Province, Mr. Mark Angelo Tiusan who elaborated the SIGA Program, and the last speaker Mr. Marzel Delima, who elucidated the best practices of SIGA in their school.

All participants enjoyed the session as it was very informative and full of learning.
