The Center of Strategic Planning and Policy Studies of College of Public Affairs and Development in the University of the Philippines Los Baños is currently implementing a two-year project funded by the DOST-PCAARRD entitled, “𝘿𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙎𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙀𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙇𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙏𝙬𝙞𝙣 𝙇𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙣, 𝙉𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙨 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡, 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨”, headed by project leader, Dr. Rowena dT. Baconguis. The study aims to contribute to the improvement of the governance and conservation efforts for the Twin Lakes of Sibulan in Negros Oriental. The project seeks to build on the success of the previous DOST-PCAARRD-funded project on San Pablo's seven lakes by developing a decision support system anchored for Lakes Balinsasayao and Danao in Sibulan, Negros Oriental.
