Dr. Socorro Aguja, Program Chair of Graduate Studies at De La Salle Araneta University, together with Dr. Maricar Prudente, Consultant to the Graduate Studies program, led the De La Salle Araneta University delegation to the 9th ARAL 2026 Conference held at De La Salle University–Manila from 14 to 16 May 2026.

The delegation was composed primarily of Doctor of Philosophy students from DLSAU, along with one former Master of Arts in Education student, fostering the University’s continuing commitment to scholarly engagement and academic research in the field of education.

Applicants with a valid teaching license (LET), a Master’s degree in the relevant fields, and research publications are preferred.

Successful candidates will be hired as part-time teachers and will be assigned to either the Manila or Laguna campus. The appointment is expected to begin on May 4, 2026.

On 11 April 2026, doctoral candidates at De La Salle Araneta University reached a significant academic milestone as they publicly defended their dissertations before an interdisciplinary panel of senior scholars from the University and affiliated La Sallian institutions. The proceedings exemplified the standards of scholarly rigor and critical inquiry that underpin contemporary doctoral education within global research universities.

The panel was convened under the chairmanship of Program Chair Dr. Soccoro Aguja, with Dr. Jennifer Reyes, Dean of the Graduate Studies and Applied Research, serving in a leading evaluative capacity. Together with invited examiners, they facilitated a sustained and methodologically grounded interrogation of each study assessing theoretical contributions, research design, and the broader implications of the candidates’ findings within their respective disciplines.
