PNU Extension Partners

DEAR everyone:

The Philippine Normal University is mobilizing to provide relief operations for the members of its community and residents around PNU Manila, North Luzon, and South Luzon campuses that are affected by the effects of Typhoon Kristine, which has resulted to flooding and stranded many of the residents to their homes.

In line with this, PNU will be activating its Disaster Emergency Assistance and Relief (DEAR) Program under the Community Partnership and Extension Office (CPEO). As such, we are asking for your generous donations that would be able to help the affected residents such as canned goods, bottled drinking water, and personal hygiene kits.

Given that offices are closed, you may turn over your in-kind donations to the Security Guards on duty at the Main Gate.

AT THE MOMENT: Stakeholders from the Private Sector and Non-Government Organizations (NGOs), communities, schools, alumni, students, faculty and staff are now gathering at the Industry-TEI Stakeholders and Multi-Stakeholders Consultation on the PNU Extension Framework as part of the STE2P-UP! 17 this morning, November 17, 2023.

In the afternoon, roundtable discussions for the consultations of the COMPASS Extension Awards, PNU Volunteers Framework, and Tracer Study for Community Engagement will be conducted.

LOOK: Dr. Rowena R. Hibanada, Director of the Community Partnership and Extension Office, gave updates on the extension services of the Philippine Normal University to the extension partners and university extensionists during STE2P-UP! 17

AT THE MOMENT: Extension Coordinators and University Extensionists are now presenting their Extension Project Proposals for 2024 at STE2P-UP! 17

Extension project proposals are now currently being scrutinized by the panel on Sustainable Development Goals, Transformative Education and Global Citizenship Education experts. Fellow extension coordinators, university extensionists and extension partners had also made their inputs in the improvement of the draft extension project proposals.
