The City of Mandaluyong Science High School proudly participated in the prestigious 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐍𝐒𝐏𝐂) 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, hosted in the vibrant city of 𝐎𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐜, 𝐋𝐞𝐲𝐭𝐞, 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟏𝟐-𝟏𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. This national gathering brought together the brightest young journalists from across the Philippines, showcasing exceptional talent in campus journalism.

Leading our delegation with remarkable distinction was 𝐀𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧, who clinched the coveted title of 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐍𝐂𝐑) - 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥. In addition, she also earned a stellar 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦, highlighting her innovative storytelling and digital prowess.

Our school's excellence extended to leadership roles on the national stage. Fellow NSPC qualifier Kevin 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐨𝐧 was elected as 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲, and 𝐀𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐭 as 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬’ 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 (𝐍𝐒𝐄𝐆).

We proudly celebrate the remarkable achievement of CMSHS in the 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭: 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬, the culminating event of the Career Connect Program, a youth workforce development initiative supported by 𝐉𝐏𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 and implemented by 𝐉𝐀 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬. This inspiring program has equipped senior high school students from Manila and Cebu with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to pursue meaningful careers in the green economy.

From more than 1,000 student participants who joined six online learning sessions on green jobs, sustainability, and innovation, CMSHS rose to the challenge and excelled. After submitting video pitches, the team advanced to the 𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝟐𝟎, underwent four mentoring sessions with JPMorgan Chase volunteers, and successfully competed in the Semifinals held on March 30, 2026. From there, the school earned a well-deserved place among the 𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝟏𝟎 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬.

Adding to this outstanding accomplishment, the City of Mandaluyong Science High School was also honored with the special award of 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫.

The interview shall account for 𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝟐𝟎%) 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞, while the written examination shall account for eighty percent (80%).

Interview results shall be 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦-𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬.

Students who are scheduled to take the interview on 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, must be thoroughly prepared in order to succeed on this crucial day. The interview is a critical step in their academic journey, and it is essential that they are fully equipped to tackle this challenge head-on.
1. Students must come in a 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦. Students are required to bring their 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐈𝐃 on the day of the interview.
2. Students are advised to bring their own snacks to sustain them throughout the duration of the interview.
3. Students must be in school according to the time of their interview. It is imperative that students arrive promptly to avoid any unnecessary stress or disruptions. Late arrivals can cause delays in the schedule and may impact the overall flow of the interview process.
