One last leap before we hop out of Biology class 🔬🐸

Let us look back on what unexpectedly challenged us—biology dissection. Surprisingly, this March highlighted a result we didn’t see coming. As Salathiel STEM students, we struggled with our final task of the month, but amidst the hardships of completing and eventually acing it, we gained so much more than just results.

Through the process, we learned patience, precision, and the importance of teamwork. We faced discomfort, pushed past hesitation, and discovered strength in supporting one another. What once felt overwhelming became a moment of growth—reminding us that challenges are not meant to break us, but to shape us into better learners and stronger individuals.

Our frog dissection during the second week of March was both an eye-opening and unforgettable experience in our biology class. We began by handling the frog and carefully pinning it onto the dissecting pan, which required both precision and composure. The following days became even more challenging as we were met with the strong, unpleasant smell of the preserved frog and formalin, making the activity harder to endure. From pinning down the frog to performing the actual dissection, every step required focus, patience, and courage. It wasn’t easy working through the discomfort, but it pushed us to stay composed and committed to the task despite the difficulties.

Beyond the physical challenges, the activity also tested our discipline and time management skills. We had to efficiently study and familiarize ourselves with the different parts of the frog in preparation for our moving practical exam, where each second counted. Through this experience, we not only gained a deeper understanding of anatomy but also learned how to work under pressure, manage our time wisely, and support one another as a team.

From the field to the stage—Salathiel continues to shine ✨
Let’s not forget how they’ve shown their true talents, mastering sports and now excelling in the arts. Here’s to recognizing their efforts and the creativity they’ve shared this school year.

The Art Exhibit “Beyond the Lines,” held last March 13, 2026, was a day where the section’s artworks and activities were brought together and displayed for everyone to see. Each piece became a “mirror across the canvas,” reflecting not just what was created, but who they are as a section. From canvas artworks to the collaborative mural painting, every output showcased their shared effort, ideas, and the small moments behind the process.

They also stepped out of their comfort zones through charcoal drawing and sculpture, which challenged them to explore new techniques and trust their skills more. It was not always easy—but that was what made the experience memorable. In the end, the exhibit became a meaningful reminder of how much they have learned and created together.

As the year ends, here’s a glimpse of Salathiel’s intramurals—an event that brought us closer, where every effort counted and strength and passion were on full display.

Intramurals 2026 was more than just a series of events, this Intrams became a reflection of who we are as one. Every effort, every moment, and every shared experience showed the strength of Grade 12-Salathiel—not just as individuals, but as a united section.

Through the challenges and the triumphs, we stood side by side, proving that true success comes from teamwork, dedication, and the willingness to give our best for one another. What we built goes beyond the competition—it’s a bond shaped by hard work and strengthened by unity.
And in the end, that’s what truly makes us champions
