Julien Yu, 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐖𝐔 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜, on the successful presentation of his PhD artistic research experiment titled " 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟: 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬," on May 29, 2026, held in SFAD Art Space.

The research experiment successfully illustrated the concept of music as a universal language. By breaking away from traditional structures, the performance highlighted the deep, shared human connections inherent in sound.

From thoughtful details to meaningful design co seencepts, the exhibit opening was filled with inspiring moments, warm conversations, and shared appreciation for Filipino artistry and innovation. 💫
