Nowhere to go but UP joins the Ateneo community in mourning the passing of Rene Clert Baterbonia and Divine Adili.

Two young lives, full of promise and purpose were taken far too soon. Beyond the game they loved, they were sons, teammates, friends, classmates, and beloved members of their community whose loss will be deeply felt by so many.

There are no words that can truly ease the pain of such a heartbreaking tragedy. We offer our deepest condolences and prayers to their families, loved ones, teammates, coaches, and everyone grieving this unimaginable loss.

Today, UP stands with the Ateneo community in grief and in prayer.
