YEA CLUB - Youth Education Advocates

We are officially recognized by E. Rodriguez Jr. High School for the school year 2025-2026. We thank you for your participation in this Youth Development Group. May God bless those who will join and assist with our advocacy. We sincerely appreciate everyone's efforts and support. 🙏💯🥰

Regarding work immersion activities undertaken by Grade 12 students, they acquired knowledge about career orientation. They participated in a seminar on preparing for the workforce held on November 13, 2025, at Ramon Magsaysay Elementary School. The seminar was facilitated by the Quezon City Public Employment Service Office (PESO). It aims to educate students on essential information necessary for securing their desired employment opportunities.

Furthermore, Mrs. Maricel Marquez, SHS guidance counselor, emphasized the significance of mental health among work immersion students, and Mr. Monico Aceberos, an English teacher, provided guidance on crafting an effective resume and application letter for job applications. This activity was organized with the assistance of officers from the YEA Club.

Today, the YEA Club, in collaboration with World of Hope, held a heartfelt talk about Mental Health — a safe space where students were encouraged to listen, share, and understand that they are never alone.

Let this be a reminder that:

✔️It’s okay to take a break when things get overwhelming.

✔️Reaching out for help is a sign of
strength, not weakness.

✔️You don’t have to face your struggles in silence — someone will always care and listen.

Together, let’s continue to promote kindness, and build a community that supports one another. Because when we talk about mental health, we talk about hope, healing, and humanity.

Our two officers, Top Saligan, the club president, and Claire Bernadette Pillado, a researcher, actively participated in the third Learning Action Cell (LAC) session for the Senior High School faculty. This session took place on October 16, 2025, at the SHS function hall. Their involvement is part of our initiative to foster leadership potential and enhance the confidence of our students.

Sabi nga nila, ‘Better late than never!’ Kahit medyo huli na ang celebration, hindi pa rin pinalampas ng YEA Club ang pagkakataon na iparamdam kay Ma’am at Sir kung gaano namin sila ka-appreciate. 💕
