BEHIND EVERY CANVAS featuring John Ray Bautista aka β€œSmooth”

A documentary film capturing the story of an artist. John Ray reminds us that creating art is an act of vulnerability, and sharing it is an act of courage.

As we celebrate our nation’s independence today, let’s also honor the creative independence of our local artist. May this journey inspire you to unlock your potential, step into the light, and share your talent with the world.

This year's conference centers on "Healing Connections Between Human and Animal" that bridges technical drafting expertise with structural advocacy, the researchers showcased their research study entitled: β€œA Proposed Biophilic-Designed Shelter for Stray Cats at Marikina Polytechnic College” β€” that highlights how thoughtful, sustainable architectural drafting can develop safe havens for the campus furry friends while fostering a harmonious environment for the MPC community.

Kudos to the group for a successful poster presentation! πŸ‘

The BIT Drafting Technology researchers are: Marvin Velasquez, Joseph Rustia, Marichu Quinawayan, Maureen Jhoy Arle, Jay-Ar Tolentino, Rexcelyn Olivar, and Jennifer Maravilla with their research adviser Prof. James Phillip Padilla.

Once a visionary, always a visionary! πŸ’―

Last Saturday, MPC-CANVAS received a wonderful gift from our alumna, Ms. Trisha Bagacina (BTTE - Drafting Technology, Batch 2020)β€” our very own heat press machine

Patunay lang na kahit tapos na sa kolehiyo, hindi pa rin kumukupas ang tatak ng pagtulong sa ating sining at komunidad.

Thank you, Ms. Trisha. Your generosity will leave a lasting mark on every shirt, tote bag, and masterpiece we press. ✨
