Many people see facilitators standing in front of hundreds of participants. And yes, Coach Sam can handle large audiences. But sometimes, the deepest transformation happens in smaller spaces.

𝑯𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊 𝒍𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒄 𝒂𝒚 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆-𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒉𝒐. May makakapal na plastic, may bote ng mineral water, may plastic para sa labels, at marami pang iba. Ganun din sa papel—may karton, may ordinaryong papel, may laminated cups na hindi basta-basta nare-recycle.

Isa sa pinakamalaking realization ko: 𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊 𝒔𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒕 𝒏𝒂 𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒑𝒐𝒏 𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒂𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒂. 𝑲𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒏 𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏 𝒊𝒕𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒉𝒂𝒏.

Nakakatuwang makasama sa seminar ang mga kinatawan mula sa Jollibee, SM City, mga pagamutan, at iba't ibang institusyon na sama-samang naghahanap ng mas mahusay na paraan ng pamamahala ng basura.

Bilang kinatawan ng St. Augustine Parish, mas lalo kong nakita na ang Solid Waste Management ay hindi lamang usapin ng kalinisan—ito ay usapin ng pananagutan, pangangalaga sa kalikasan, at pagmamahal sa komunidad.

Ang basura ay hindi nawawala kapag itinapon natin. May pupuntahan ito. Ang tanong: handa ba tayong maging bahagi ng solusyon, o mananatili tayong bahagi ng problema?

🌱 Maliit na segregasyon ngayon, malaking pagbabago bukas.
