That's not to say though, that older guests shy away from this area. On the contrary! We have had older siblings, Mommies, and Daddies, hang out at our library corner and read Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar to themselves! Our arts/crafts area is always a hit, as it encourages creativity in children. We give them freedom in choosing the materials to decorate their craft with - be it stickers, markers, or crayons. We're always amazed at the finished products, and thrilled to be part of the process. Although we're commonly engaged in children's parties, The BookArt Corner is also perfect for keeping children occupied at grown-up events like weddings, debuts, and baby showers.
