Last July 5, the WeDid Ventures team went to Bistekville Payatas to volunteer at Habitat for Humanity Philippines. Despite the heavy rain during parts of the day, the WeDid team pushed until they finished the volunteer tasks assigned to them.
Not only did they get to experience transporting the rocks and cement, and transferring them to the site, but they also learned the importance of teamwork as they helped each other out with the tasks. It was definitely a good team building experience for the WeDid Fellows.

Last May 27 and 28, the WeDid Ventures team gave an English Enhancement and Formation Workshop to high school students at ERDA Tech.
We had a goal of helping the students improve their english writing and speaking. We also wanted to inspire them to look at learning from a different perspective.
The students went through games, quick write exercises, group discussions, public speaking exercises and several other activities. The students also went through a "7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens" module to help them create a road-map and game plan as they strive to achieve their dreams and goals.
Learning truly can and should be fun, and we hope that these kids continue to learn, and grow as individuals this school year.
