It's Final Examination Week, Talaturung Aslags! We know the pressure is on, reviewers everywhere, last-minute cramming, and sleepless nights trying to survive the final stretch of the semester. Kaya bago tayo bumiyahe patungong next sem, may isang huling handog ang your IESC cutie para sa inyo!

Alongside your freshly brewed coffee to keep you awake and focused, you can also enjoy a warm serving of hot pandesal, simple comfort food for a week that feels anything but simple.

Because finals may be challenging, a little caffeine, a warm snack, and the support of IE student council can go a long way. Take a quick break, recharge, and remind yourself that you've made it this far for a reason.

May you ace this Final Examination Week. Magtiwala sa sarili at manalig sa lahat ng pinag-aralan at pinaghirapan. Naging bumpy, baliko, at minsan nakakahilo man ang biyahe, yet you're still here. And that alone is something to be proud of.

𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘

Today, June 15, we commemorate the anniversary of the 1991 eruption of Mt. Pinatubo, one of the most powerful volcanic events in modern history and the second-largest terrestrial eruption of the 20th century. The eruption dramatically altered landscapes, displaced thousands of families, and left a lasting mark on communities across Central Luzon.

Beyond the devastation, the eruption revealed the extraordinary strength and unity of the Filipino people. Communities came together to support one another, rebuild homes, and restore livelihoods despite the immense challenges brought by this eruption. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘀𝘆𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲.

As we remember this historic event, we honor the lives affected and the lessons it continues to teach us about perseverance and resilience. From the ashes of destruction emerged stories of survival and renewal, a proof that 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲.

Sa paggunita ng makasaysayang araw na ito, nawa'y magsilbing inspirasyon ang kanilang kabayanihan upang maging responsableng mamamayan at aktibong tagapagtaguyod ng pag-unlad ng ating bansa. Ang kalayaang tinatamasa natin ngayon ay bunga ng kanilang sakripisyo at pagmamahal sa ating sariling bayan.

Together, let us preserve the legacy of our heroes and work toward a brighter future for the Philippines.
