Last May 16, members of the UST Microbiology Society gathered for an afternoon of reflection, recognition, and celebration as we marked the close of Academic Year 2025–2026. Together, we honored the achievements of our community, celebrated the dedication of our members, and welcomed the aspiring leaders who will guide the Society forward.

As one chapter comes to an end, another begins—filled with new opportunities, discoveries, and growth. Thank you for being part of this journey. May we continue pursuing science with purpose, passion, and excellence. 🌟🔬

Last May 9, participants joined 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗹𝘀 to explore the fascinating connection between the gut and the brain. Through insightful discussions and engaging activities, attendees discovered how the gut microbiome influences not only physical health but also thoughts, emotions, and behavior.

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this event. We hope you left with new knowledge, fresh perspectives, and a deeper appreciation for the complex ecosystem within us. Until our next scientific adventure, stay curious and keep exploring! 🦠✨
