5 days to go Oplan Balik Eskwela na kung kaya ang Tagum City National High School ay bumisita sa DXDN studio para manghikayat na mag brigada ang lahat upang maging handa ang ating paaralan sa darating na pasukan.

As part of our Brigadahan and the continuous drive for literacy, TCNHS is knocking in your hearts for another causa— Brigadahan sa Aklatan.

We would love to accept your good old boks and books that you are willing to let go and share to our students.

In the end and still it takes a village to educate a child. Thank you and see you with your books! 😃

The spirit of Brigadahan is always alive in City High.

Volunteer students helped in transferring over hundreds of bed to its new area since the school admin is doing its best to maximize the classrooms available to be used for instruction.

On the other hand, Grade 7 teachers are now busy encoding ang updating their class list.

Thank you also to our hardworking department heads and master teachers for facilitating this brigadahan.

LUNGSOD NG PASIG, Agosto 5, 2022 – Nangalap ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon (DepEd) ng mga pananaw mula sa mga education stakeholder, partikular sa mga mag-aaral, g**o, at komunidad upang i-reimagine ang basic education sa Pilipinas mula ngayon hanggang 2030 sa pamamagitan ng Stakeholders’ Convergence: UN Transforming Education Summit (TES) 2022 nitong Biyernes.

“The core of our mission is to ensure that we can provide accessible, equitable, and quality basic education to Filipino children, that we can help them build a better future for themselves, that they can achieve their dreams, that they can become productive members of their communities and active partners of the government in building a stronger nation,” ani Bise Presidente at Kalihim ng Edukasyon Sara Z. Duterte.

Ang Stakeholders Convergence ay bahagi ng serye ng mga pagpupulong bilang paghahanda sa United Nations Transforming Education Summit in New York sa Setyembre 2022.

Ang TES ay isang mahalagang inisyatiba ni UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres na nagbubuklod sa global, national, at local education stakeholders para sa inklusibo, networked, at epektibong pandaigdigang diyalogo sa mga uri ng aksyon na kailangan upang magkaroon ng pagbabago sa pagsulong, tungo sa Sustainable Development Goal 4 para sa kalidad ng edukasyon.

Kamakailan, binuo ng DepEd ang unang medium-term plan para sa edukasyon na tinawag na Basic Education Development Plan 2030 na naglalayong tugunan ang mga kasalukuyang hamon sa sektor ng edukasyon sa pamamagitan ng apat na haligi nito, kabilang ang access, equity, quality, at resiliency and wellbeing.

“Any solution to the world’s problems starts with education, the greatest tool we have to fulfill and grow human potential. We must chart a path that places education at the heart of sustainable, inclusive, resilient economies and societies,” pagbanggit ni UN Philippines Resident Coordinator Gustavo Gonzalez.

Pagkatapos ng Stakeholders Convergence, maghahanda ang Gobyerno ng Pilipinas ng pambansang pahayag sa pananaw sa kinabukasan ng edukasyon, pagpapalakas ng pampolitika at pampublikong commitment, pagtukoy sa mga pangunahing aksyon, at pagpapakilos sa suporta para sa transpomasyon ng pagtuturo at pagkamit sa mga target ng SDG 2030.

“Education is a fundamental human right. As we move forward, let us reconfirm our commitment to reach the most vulnerable. Let’s ensure that children that have dropped out, children with disabilities, indigenous children, pregnant teenagers, rural students, and young learners in child development centers will be among the first to benefit from the programs and services aimed at improving the current education system,” ani UNICEF Deputy Representative Behzad Noubary.
