In preparation for the upcoming entire academic year 2026-2027, the Hospitality Management faculty convened for an orientation and discussion of the program curriculum, academic deliverables, and key institutional policies on June 8, 2026 at the HM Program Head's Office, led by Ryan J. Hibaya, Program Head, with the faculty members, Ms. Shery Joy A. Palomata, Ms. Libby Mae M. Calipusan, Ms. Therese Jerika B. Managat, and our Marian-Hotel Laboratories Custodian, Ms. Rhea Mae A. Petorbos.

Faculty members were also oriented on essential academic matters, particularly strategies for supporting students at risk and ensuring timely academic intervention. This initiative strengthens the program’s commitment to student success, academic excellence, and preparing future hospitality professionals for the demands of the industry.

Are you a filmmaker, content creator, videographer, editor, writer, photographer, designer, or creative storyteller ready to showcase the best of Davao del Norte?

The Provincial Government of Davao del Norte, through the Provincial Tourism Office, invites creative teams to join the 𝐃𝐀𝐕𝐍𝐎𝐑 𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐌 𝐀𝐃-𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐍 2026—a tourism video production competition that challenges participants to create promotional videos highlighting the unique destinations, culture, people, and experiences of Davao del Norte's Local Government Units.

What to Expect?

Team Composition

* Minimum of 3 members

* Open to filmmakers, content creators, students, media practitioners, tourism advocates, and creative professionals

Who Can Join?

Writers, directors, producers, videographers, photographers, editors, graphic artists, motion designers, and social media creatives are encouraged to participate.

The 𝗟𝗬𝗨𝗥𝗢𝗧 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗮 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗼 earned recognition for the 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐯𝐥𝐨𝐠 showcasing the preparation of i𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀. This is part of the 𝐇𝐌𝐏𝐄𝟓 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 (𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞), where students were guided by their 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐉𝐨𝐲 𝐀. 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐚, 𝐂𝐇𝐏, 𝐂𝐆𝐒𝐏, in creating a vlog focused on a selected Mindanao cuisine, specifically the 𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝗟𝗬𝗨𝗥𝗢𝗧 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗮 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲. This is also align with the Department of Tourism - Philippines, Davao de Oro Provincial Tourism Office Department of Tourism - Davao Region advocates for the promotion of Philippine Regional Cuisine.

The 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 continues to uphold the highest standards by delivering a curriculum grounded in 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, aligned with the 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥'𝐬 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡, 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞.
