Happy Priestly Anniversary, Fr. Joseph, SDB!
Happy Sacerdotal Anniversary, Fr. Joseph Kunle Ogundana, SDB!
With gratitude and joy, we celebrate Fr. Kunle as he marks his 6th year of faithful priestly ministry and dedicated service as a Salesian of Don Bosco.
Inspired by Christ's call, “You yourselves give them something to eat” (Mk 6:37), Fr. Kunle continues to share God's love through his ministry, guiding and accompanying the young in the spirit of St. John Bosco. We thank the Lord for the gift of his vocation, his dedication to the Church, and his commitment to the Salesian mission.
May Mary Help of Christians continue to watch over him, and may God bless him with abundant grace, strength, joy, and zeal in the years ahead.
Ad multos annos, Fr. Kunle!

"Do not put off till tomorrow the good you can do today. You may not have a tomorrow."
— St. John Bosco
The profound insight of St. John Bosco strikes directly at our modern tendency to view time as an endless commodity and to treat our good intentions as things that can always be scheduled for later. We live in a culture saturated with constant distraction and driven by the illusion that we will always have another day, a better opportunity, or a more convenient season to be kind, to forgive, or to deepen our relationship with God. St. John Bosco gently but firmly dismantles this complacent perspective, reminding us that true charity and spiritual growth cannot be perpetually deferred; the present moment is the only time we actually possess, and delaying the good we are called to do is a dangerous gamble we make with grace.
Embodying this truth demands a radical shift from viewing our spiritual and moral lives as a future project to seeing them as an immediate, daily summons. When we hoard our love, delay our apologies, or push our spiritual lives to the margins of our busy schedules, we miss out on the deeply transformative opportunities hidden within the "now." By choosing to act with holy urgency; speaking the word of encouragement today, serving the person in front of us right now, and responding immediately to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, we can intentionally transform our fleeting days into a continuous harvest of active love, confident that God uses our prompt obedience to bring about His kingdom exactly when it is needed most.
St. John Bosco, pray for us!
