🌟 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬: 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 🌟

The 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬 - 𝐋𝐢𝐩𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, in partnership with 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬, successfully held the Students Internship Culminating Activity last May 22, 2026 at Tower 1, LIMA Estate, Lipa City, Batangas. The event marked the official completion of the internship journey for our talented 𝐁𝐒 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 (𝐁𝐒 𝐈𝐓) and 𝐁𝐒 𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 student interns.

As part of this meaningful engagement, Conduent Philippines also conducted an exclusive facility tour for the University of Batangas Lipa City personnel, showcasing their state-of-the-art workspace and vibrant corporate environment. 🚀🏢

We extend our deepest gratitude to our industry partners from Conduent and our dedicated university leaders who guided our students through their professional training.

The participants were warmly welcomed by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐊𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐔𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐳𝐨, Director for Integrated Marketing and Batangas Site Lead, through his inspiring welcome message. Also present during the event were 𝐌𝐬. 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐆𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐳, Senior Director and Regional Leader for Conduent PH & MY, who delivered the closing remarks; Mr. Adrian Camitan, HR Manager, Operations and Delivery; 𝐌𝐫. 𝐂𝐡𝐢 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐨, Senior Manager for Talent Acquisition; and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐍𝐨𝐞𝐥 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧, IT Supervisor.

The event was attended by Assistant Internship Officer 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 M. 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐢, together with 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧-𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐮𝐧𝐨, Dean of the College of Information Technology, Entertainment and Communication; 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚 𝐀𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚-𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐳, Dean of the College of Education, Arts and Sciences; 𝐌𝐬. 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐂. 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐠-𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐠, Faculty Member of BS Psychology, highlighting the active participation and collaboration of various academic units within the university.

The event also featured inspiring testimonies from student interns 𝐊𝐲𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐳, BS Psychology student-intern, and 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐄𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠, BS IT student-intern, who shared their valuable experiences and learnings throughout their internship journey. In addition, the interns were given the opportunity to participate in a company tour, where they explored the workplace environment and gained further insights into the operations and professional culture of Conduent Philippines.

Earlier today, May 7, 2026, Mr. Jobert M. Legaspi, the UBLC Assistant Internship Officer, led a Post-Evaluation and Debriefing Meeting for our CHED-SIAP participants.

We are incredibly proud of our 𝟐𝟑 𝐁𝐒𝐓𝐌 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟑 𝐁𝐒𝐇𝐌 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 from the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 who successfully completed their 5-month international internship in 𝐏𝐡𝐮𝐤𝐞𝐭, 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 (December 2025 – April 2026). 🇹🇭💼

𝐉𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐌. 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐢 earlier today, May 6, 2026, at 9:00 AM.

This session was specifically designed to prepare our hardworking BS Computer Engineering students for their Summer Semester A. Y. 2025-2026 Internship. We are committed to ensuring every UBian is equipped with the right tools—from professional etiquette to winning job application strategies—before they step into the industry. 🎓💼

The transition from theoretical framework to industrial application begins now! We’re eager to see you optimize your workflows and deliver high-impact results this internship cycle.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Due to the inclement weather conditions and in consideration of everyone’s safety, the Internship Office of University of Batangas hereby suspends all work immersion and internship activities on November 10–11, 2025.

Immersion trainees and interns are advised to stay safe and remain indoors during this period. Supervisors may, however, assign alternative online tasks or duties if applicable and feasible.

For any concerns or clarifications, immersion trainees and interns are encouraged to communicate directly with their respective Internship Coordinators.

Please stay tuned to the official UB communication channels for further announcements regarding the resumption of work immersion and internship duties.
