𝑽𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒖𝒆𝒗𝒂, 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒔 𝑶𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒍—The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) officially launched Pasiugda 2024 on 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚, 𝑫𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 2, 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒂 𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒓𝒊𝒃𝒃𝒐𝒏-𝒄𝒖𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒅 𝒂𝒕 𝑼𝑺𝑻𝑷 𝑽𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒖𝒆𝒗𝒂. The ceremony was graced by 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬, OIC Division Chief of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Misamis Oriental, alongside key university officials and community stakeholders.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐆. 𝐑𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐚, Campus Administrator of USTP Villanueva, together with the Program Heads, welcomed participants and partners, highlighting the event’s role in fostering innovation, creativity, and collaboration. “𝑷𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒖𝒈𝒅𝒂 2024 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒂 𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏—𝒊𝒕’𝒔 𝒂 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝒐𝒇 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌 𝒕𝒐𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒔 𝒂 𝒔𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒇𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆,” said Prof. Rabaya in his opening remarks.

𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐠𝐝𝐚 2024 aims to inspire and empower individuals through innovative projects, creative ideas, and collaborative initiatives, aligning closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

𝐒𝐃𝐆 4: 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – Promoting access to quality education and lifelong learning opportunities through skill-building activities and knowledge-sharing sessions.

𝐒𝐃𝐆 8: 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 – Fostering entrepreneurship and preparing participants for sustainable economic opportunities in various industries.

𝐒𝐃𝐆 9: 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲, 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 – Showcasing technological advancements and encouraging the development of sustainable infrastructure.
