Living Heritage at Mohatta
Mohatta Palace Museum has launched its Living Heritage Series, workshops that celebrate traditions shaping our collective identity. These sessions are not about preserving history behind walls, but about bringing it alive, letting stories be told and wisdom shared.
Calligraphy highlights the balance between preservation and active cultural expression. It embodies language and aesthetics that connect communities to their heritage.
With this in mind this week, we welcomed aspiring calligraphers to our first workshop beginning a journey to keep heritage alive, one stroke at a time. The workshop was led by artist 🪬👁️🐉 . With a focus on movement, flow and rhythm. Participants explored repetition and muscle memory through guided exercises, discovering their own natural rhythm rather than following strict rules.
Follow Mohatta Palace Museum to catch the next workshop!
