A seminar on *“Pakistan’s Mediation Role in US–Iran Talks”* was held today at 10:00 A.M. in the Multipurpose Hall of University of Education, Jauharabad Campus. The session was delivered by Dr. Rahmat Shah, who highlighted Pakistan’s emerging role as a neutral mediator in easing tensions between the United States and Iran. He discussed the country’s diplomatic efforts, challenges in mediation such as trust deficits and political complexities, and the potential benefits for Pakistan in terms of global recognition and strengthened international relations. The seminar also included an interactive question-and-answer session, where students actively participated, making the event informative and engaging for all attendees.

The Oral Health Seminar was held at the University of Education Lahore, Attock Campus, on 23rd April 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, as an important student counselling and awareness session. The seminar was conducted by Dr. Saqib Suleman, Dr. Omema Syed, and Dr. Javeria Javaid, who shared valuable information about oral hygiene, dental care, common oral health issues, and preventive measures. The session provided students with an excellent opportunity to learn healthy practices, ask questions, and receive professional guidance about maintaining good oral health. A seminar on the "Role of Educational Institutions in Promoting Tolerance" is being organized at University of Education, Lahore on 23rd of April 2026 10:30AM under the supervision of Director Student Counselling Centre Dr. Zahida Javed. A comprehensive first aid training session was organized at the UE Business School, University of Education, in collaboration with Rescue 1122. The objective of this training was to equip students and staff with essential life-saving skills and to raise awareness about the importance of timely medical assistance in emergency situations.

On May 6th 2025, Mr. Faran Ali, faculty member UEBS and Coordinator students counseling centre DMAS, University of Education, and Mr. Ali Hamza participated as distinguished guest speaker(s) in a session on cryptocurrency at Riphah International University. This event was part of a collaborative initiative aimed at promoting awareness and imparting up-to-date knowledge on emerging financial technologies among students and academic professionals.

During the session, Mr. Faran Ali and his team shared valuable insights into the fundamentals, potential, and regulatory landscape of cryptocurrency. His expertise contributed significantly to enriching the participants’ understanding of the digital financial ecosystem, highlighting both opportunities and challenges in the field.

The event marked a successful step towards academic collaboration and continuous professional development, reflecting a shared commitment between institutions to foster innovation and informed discourse on contemporary global topics.

A session over Financial literacy was held by UE Business school on 16th April 2025 organized by Mr. Faran Ali (Manager CPD and coordinator students counseling centre DMAS). Mr. Ahsin Razzaqi (Manager Punjab region PMEX) and Mr Faisal (CEO MetaMax commodities pvt. Limited) were the guest speakers. They introduced our students with investment in crypto and commodity matket to get profits while keeping the risk at lower level. They also facilitated students to open their demo accounts for getting basic knowledge and experience after which they can start trading with minimal amount
It was a learning and fruitful session for business students which ended with commitment of more collaborative efforts in days to come.
Dr. Farhan Sarwar presented the certificates to guests while PMEX team distributed gifts to students for encouragement.

BKR's Student Counselling Centre hosted a Stress Management seminar on 21st March 2025, featuring esteemed guest speaker Ms. Ayesha Rasheed, psychologist and a certified professional counselor from USA, Coordinator Head of Tarbiyah UMT. Ms. Ayesha delivered an inspiring talk, sharing Islamic perspectives on stress management and practical techniques for students to apply in their daily lives. Principal BKR supplemented the discussion with a thought-provoking talk on the Carrot and Stick Theory, offering valuable life strategy insights. This enlightening event aimed to empower students to overcome depression and stress, promoting overall well-being.
