Garrett History Society conducted a insightful workshop titled “War-chives: Historiography Under Conflict.”
The session focused on the portrayal of war and conflict in historical narratives, exploring a range of sources including documents, letters, archival replicas, photographs, propaganda posters, artwork, and comic books.
We were honored to host Ms. Rajaa Saleem, Lecturer in the Archive Studies Department and a PhD scholar at the University of Oxford, who led the workshop with insightful discussions and engaging analysis.
The event brought together students, researchers, and history enthusiasts to critically engage with the representation of war and conflict through archival materials.
