Eratosthenes was a world-famous mathematician known for his unbelievable and exact calculation. He was the only mathematician who put efforts to calculate the 𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙝’𝙨 𝙘𝙞𝙧𝙘𝙪𝙢𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 and calculated the Earth’s axis tilt. Both his calculations are exact, and so he became famous worldwide.
He multiplied this distance by 50( Alexandria and Syene) to get 40,250 kilometers .
Today, most scientists set the earth's circumference at 40,096 kilometers. This gives Eratosthenes' estimate less than a one percent error, an excellent approximation of the earth's circumference.

Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi was a Muslim mathematician and astronomer. He is known as the “𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐥𝐠𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚”, a word derived from the title of his book, Kitab al-Jabr.

𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 also called Hindu-Arabic number system or Arabic number system, in mathematics, positional numeral system employing 10 as the base and requiring 10 different numerals, the digits 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.
