Under the leadership of the Chairperson TEVTA and the guidance of DG (Ops-I), Respected Muhammad Asad Khan, RD (South) visited GCT Kot Addu.
During the visit, he inaugurated a solar-powered water pump donated by an NGO and planted a tree under the Clean & Green Pakistan initiative. He appreciated the collegeβs efforts towards sustainability and environmental stewardship.
The RD also inspected various labs and directed the concerned staff to ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of machinery and equipment.
During a meeting with faculty and staff, he emphasized quality admissions, industry-oriented training, graduate employability, effective record management, HSE compliance, and adherence to TEVTA policies. He expressed satisfaction with the overall progress and performance of the college.

πβ¨ Engro Polymer and Chemicals LTD Karachi Recruitment Drive Successfully Conducted at Government College of Technology Multan β¨π
Government College of Technology (GCT) Multan proudly hosted a Recruitment Drive by Engro Polymer & Chemicals Ltd. for DAE Chemical Technology students.
A total of 99 students, including 98 male and 1 female candidate, participated in the recruitment process. The event featured a written assessment followed by on-campus interviews conducted by the company's recruitment team, providing students with an excellent opportunity to begin their professional careers.
π€ On this occasion, Engr. Muhammad Asad Khan, Regional Director/Principal, addressed the students and encouraged them to pursue excellence and make the most of such career opportunities. Engr. Mudaser Rasheed, Vice Principal, was also present during the event.
π At the conclusion of the Recruitment Drive, Engr. Muhammad Asad Khan presented a commemorative shield to the visiting Engro Polymer Recruitment Team as a token of appreciation for their valuable contribution towards creating employment opportunities for students.

A significant milestone toward youth empowerment and skills development was achieved with the successful inauguration of the Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Hunarmand Program (Construction Sector Courses) at Government College of Technology (GCT) Layyah, South Zone. The ceremony was graced by Engr. Muhammad Asad Khan, Regional Director (South) as the Chief Guest.
During his address, Engr. Muhammad Asad Khan highly appreciated the efforts of the institute in promoting technical and vocational education. He emphasized the crucial role of skilled manpower in strengthening and advancing the construction sector, highlighting how practical technical skills contribute to economic growth and national development. π’π¨

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the administration and honored guests visited the training laboratories and officially launched the first training batch at GCT Layyah. This launch reflects a strong commitment toward creating opportunities for youth through quality technical education, hands-on learning experiences, and skill-based training programs designed to enhance employability and career growth.

The worthy Regional Director TEVTA (South) Mr. Muhammad Asad Khan Qazi visited today 25/05/2026 Government College of Technology for Women Layyah to review the academic environment, administrative arrangements, laboratories, hostel facilities, and examination arrangements of the institute. The purpose of the visit was to observe the overall performance and development of the college.
During the visit, the Regional Director thoroughly observed different sections of the institute. He inspected classrooms, workshops, computer labs, and administrative offices in detail. Special attention was given to discipline, cleanliness, and the learning environment of students.
The Regional Director especially visited the Beautician Lab, where he examined the available equipment, training materials, and practical work of students. He appreciated the organized setup of the lab and encouraged students to continue developing professional skills according to modern industry standards.
The Director also inspected the Hostel facilities in detail. He reviewed the cleanliness, security arrangements, dining area, rooms, and overall living environment provided to the students. Regional Director South, Muhammad Asad Khan Qazi, highly appreciated the renovation and improved condition of the hostel. He praised the administration for maintaining a comfortable and well-managed environment for students.
Furthermore, the Regional Director South also visited the Examination Centre, where he checked the examination arrangements and available facilities in detail. He interacted with the students and discussed their examination environment and facilities being provided during exams. He expressed satisfaction over the management and arrangements of the examination centre.
The Regional Director met with teachers discussed academic activities, technical training, and future goals of the institute. He appreciated the efforts of the principal, teaching staff, and administration for maintaining a positive educational environment.
Conclusion
The visit of the Regional Director proved to be encouraging and motivating for both students and staff. His observations and guidance will help further improve the educational standards and facilities of the institute. *Proud Moment for GCT Multan*
We are proud to share that a former student of DAE Chemical Technology, Session 2013-2016 from GCT Multan, Jahanzaib Khalid who is currently working at a Petrochemical Refinery in Bahrain, has donated a 400 GPH RO Plant to the Chemical Department as a gesture of love and gratitude for his alma mater.
Today, this generous contribution was officially recognized by the Principal of GCT Multan, Engr. Muhammad Asad Khan.

The worthy Regional Director (South), TEVTA Multan, visited Government College of Technology Rahim Yar Khan on 12.05.2026 to review the academic, administrative, and developmental affairs of the institute.
During the visit, the Regional Director inspected various departments, classrooms, laboratories, workshops, and ongoing institutional activities. He also held meetings with the Principal, faculty members, and administrative staff regarding educational standards, discipline, admissions, infrastructure, and implementation of TEVTA policies.
The Regional Director appreciated the efforts of the institute administration and staff for maintaining discipline, improving technical education facilities, and promoting quality education and skill development. Necessary directions and recommendations were also conveyed for further improvement and enhancement of institutional performance.

Following the vision of Brig. Muhammad Sajid Khokhar, SI(M), Retd., Chairperson TEVTA, and the advice of the DG Operations-I TEVTA, Engr. Abdul Wasy, the Regional Director, Engr. Muhammad Asad Khan, inspected the Government College of Technology Bahawalpur along with Principal Engr. Muhammad Akram Fani. During this inspection, he inspected labs of the CM Maryam Nawaz Hunarmand Program, including Building Painting, General Electrician, Welding, and Plumbing trades, and reviewed practical training, safety measures, and studentsβ hands-on skills. The RD appreciated the discipline, quality training environment, and industry-oriented learning. He also visited the campus recruitment drive and observed participation from Electronics, Civil, and Mechanical trades. Students were further briefed about the importance of the 3-month Cloud Computing course and career opportunities in modern IT fields such as cloud services, virtualization, and platforms including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure. The visit emphasized practical learning and demand-driven technical education for skilled workforce development.
