Bahauddin Zakariya University (بہاؤ الدین زکریا یونیورسٹی ملتان) is located in Multan, Punjab, Pakistan. Bahauddin Zakariya University was formerly known as Multan University. It was renamed in honor of Hazrat Baha-ud-din Zakariya. It is a degree-awarding institute in more than 60 subjects, including pharmacy, medical, engineering, humanities, business administration, law, art, music, IT Agriculture, and languages.

Admissions for Fall 2026 are now open at Bahauddin Zakariya University for Undergraduate and Associate Degree Programs. Ranked 601–800 globally in THE World University Rankings 2026, BZU stands jointly 1st in Punjab and 2nd in Pakistan. The university is offering full and partial fee waivers along with multiple scholarship opportunities. Online applications can be submitted by 10 July 2026.

Bahauddin Zakariya University celebrated the ORIC X category ranking by HEC. ORIC BZU submitted the scorecard for the first time under the visionary leadership of Vice Chancellor Dr. Zubair Iqbal, and secured X category. The only one university securing X category among the other six universities submitting for the first time. Moreover, the researchers of BZU were given certificates by Dr. Zubair Iqbal for winning national and international projects. Also, certificates were given to the contributors towards QS Ranking achievements.
