I love when you have a laugh with someone you’ve just met. Thanks for being so open

We spoke about confidence, growing up, life lessons, embarrassing moments and the things we’d tell our younger selves now. I loved how open and unapologetically herself she was the whole way through 🤍

These are my favourite kinds of conversations. Real, unfiltered and full of personality.

New episode out now ✨

Enjoyed an evening

“Sometimes faith is the only thing that keeps you moving forward.” ✨

Thanks for being open

We spoke about growth, resilience, pressure, purpose and the moments in life where you have to trust that things are unfolding the way they’re meant to. One part that really stayed with me was the conversation around God and faith, and how important that has been through difficult seasons.

Meet 🤝

We all have to just start right…I started recording this series in Qatar earlier this year. I was with my little sister and she had to give me a push…to just start!

The first table I walked up to was sat there - she said yeah sure I will record some content with you. 💖

It’s really not that easy just walking up to people and asking them to be vulnerable.

I love people like - they will say yes to the opportunity!

Listen to her advice - positive all round and hugs all round 🎉

Welcome to Dear Younger Me

A new content series talking to ayone and everyone out there, giving simple practical advice to young people.

We spent some time in Qatar and met some incredible founders, entrepreneurs, innovators and everything in between.

Meet from who gave some sound advice to young people.

There is so much noise out there, and I think it’s confusing for young people to trust where to go - the noise of social media is loud.

The best advice is speaking to people and connecting if you’re not sure. Take a leap and experiment!

I’m on this mission to educate 1 million children globally - let’s go! 💪

Advice to your younger self…

✨ “Give yourself permission to explore.” ✨

One of my favourite moments from Episode 54 with Kierra Dotson was when I asked her what advice she would give to her younger self.

Her answer was simple but powerful: don’t put so much pressure on yourself to have everything figured out. Could not agree more!

Kierra spoke about the importance of staying curious, exploring different paths, and trusting that every experience adds to your journey.

So many young people feel they need to know exactly what they want to do. The truth is, your career will evolve, your interests will change, and every step teaches you something valuable.

💡 Your path does not need to be linear.
💡 Exploration is part of the process.
💡 Everything you learn will serve you later.

A powerful reminder for anyone building their future.

🚀 Episode 54 is now live! 🎙️✨

I loved this conversation with Kierra Dotson,

Kierra has such a calm and practical way of talking about AI, especially at a time when so many people are feeling overwhelmed by headlines about automation and the future of work.

One of my biggest takeaways from this conversation…

💡 AI is not here to replace you. It is here to augment you.

The real opportunity is learning how to use these tools to synthesise information, structure your thinking and help you work smarter.

If you are feeling nervous about AI, Kierra’s advice is simple: start by understanding how it is already being used in your field and get comfortable experimenting with it.

The people who thrive in the future won’t necessarily be the most technical. They will be the ones who are curious enough to learn.

Thank you for inviting me back - how proud must you be of the different groups of children in this school. Honestly, epic!

I spoke to an older group of kids yesterday, year 9 & 10 and I have to adjust what I talk about slightly.

Kids are honest, and they will show you and tell you if something isn’t landing - which is quite refreshing.

I spoke a lot about gratitude and how lucky they are to be in this classroom, have books on the shelves, speak to teachers everyday, go home at the weekend and do work or play - and everything in between. They were shocked when I mentioned girls in Afghanistan currently can’t leave their homes atm - and schools have been closed ‘temporarily’ for no reason.

I then talk about how at some schools, in the UK, kids are so grateful for a free book or even time away from home.

We spoke about fears, failures, our purpose but also where they wanted to travel to - my favourite topic!

At the end I offer anyone a free copy of The Girl and Her Globe, and hopefully by that point I’ve heard from everyone, so that I can write a personalised message.

One girl right at the end, as I signed her book said to me, thank you for visiting today, your talk was inspiring and I’ve never seen anyone like me, speak about stuff you spoke about today’

The best questions happen post the session, what I’ve spoken takes a while to resonate and then I get…

“If I wanted to start a business what’s your advice?”
“If I don’t want to go to university what should I do next?”
“What were your biggest dreams at school?”
“I’m nervous about Mocks, what if I fail?”
“Will you write another book?”

And this is why I’m doing this, I want to educate 1 million girls globally - but bringing boys on that journey is just as important.

You have to do grassroot work to really see the impact.

So I thank you again for teaching young people day in day out.

✨ The secret to emotional freedom? Feel everything. 💛

One of my favourite moments from my conversation with was her reminder that we are allowed to experience the full spectrum of human emotion.

Joy. Anger. Sadness. Optimism. Freedom.

There is nothing wrong with feeling deeply.

In this clip, Charente shares how she uses the Abraham Hicks emotional guidance scale to recognise where she is emotionally and intentionally work her way back to joy.

Too often we think we need to suppress difficult emotions or move past them as quickly as possible. But our emotions are signals, not flaws.

When we stop shaming ourselves for what we feel, we create space for healing, self-awareness and growth. ✨

And perhaps that is something AI can never fully replicate.

Technology can process data, but it cannot experience the complexity of what it means to be human.

✨ Episode 54 of the Girls in Movement Podcast is now live! 🎙️💛 Link in bio.

I met the day before we recorded at HumanX in San Francisco while I was running on very little sleep and a lot of jet lag. From the moment we met, we were laughing.

What I loved most about Charente is how authentic she is. She brings incredible energy, keeps it real, and reminds you that the best conversations happen when people show up as themselves.

I’m a big believer that energy matters. The people you choose to spend time with can inspire you, challenge you, and help you see your own story in a different light.

In this clip, Charente shares a powerful perspective: every experience in life has value.

The difficult moments, the setbacks, the trauma, the unexpected twists. These are the things that shape your judgment, your resilience, and your unique perspective.

AI can process information, but it cannot replicate the lived experiences that make each of us who we are.

Your story matters.
Your experiences matter.
And often, the hardest chapters become your greatest strength. ✨
