As part of the Termez Dialogue in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, the Center for International and Regional Studies (CIRS) convened a student panel titled Beyond Borders: Youth Perspectives on Regional Connectivity and Cooperation in Central and South Asia.
Moderated by GU-Q alumna Maryam Daud, the panel brought together Georgetown University in Qatar students from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan to discuss educational mobility, women's inclusion, talent retention, economic connectivity, and climate governance across the region.
Held alongside policymakers, scholars, and regional experts, the session provided a platform for young voices to contribute directly to conversations on the future of Central and South Asia.
Speakers included Suhrob Karimov, Zarangez Makhmudova, Javohir Akramov, Abdrakhman Serikkali, and Jennet Soltanova.
