There are moments when children say no, cry over small things, or seem unable to listen. These behaviours can feel challenging, especially in the busyness of everyday life. But often, what looks difficult is simply a child trying to communicate feelings they cannot yet put into words.

Children can decorate the shop front, design their menu and imagine themselves serving warm drinks to family and friends.

This activity encourages creativity, role‑play and fine motor development, while giving families a chance to enjoy a fun bonding moment together.
