🌏✨ For 6 days and 5 nights, our Primary 5 students embarked on an unforgettable Overseas Learning Journey to Shenzhen and Guangzhou, China!

Beyond exploring innovation at the Shenzhen Science & Technology Museum, taking in breathtaking views from Canton Tower, and discovering wildlife at Chimelong Safari Park, students also had valuable opportunities to interact and bond with peers from other cluster schools throughout the journey.

A memorable school exchange with Shenzhen Bao’an Xiwan School further allowed students to forge international friendships while sharing Singaporean games and the local culture. Through these rich learning experiences, students broadened their perspectives, deepened their cultural appreciation, and grew as confident global learners.

πŸ’« New friendships, new experiences, and memories to last a lifetime!

✨ **Learning Beyond Borders: P5 Overseas Learning Journey to Vietnam 2026** ✨

For 4 days and 3 nights, our Primary 5 students embarked on an unforgettable Overseas Learning Journey to **Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam**, where learning truly came alive beyond the classroom 🌏

From exploring the **Mekong Delta** and discovering traditional coconut candy making, to stepping into history at the **Cu Chi Tunnels** and experiencing hands-on **rice paper making**, every moment was filled with meaningful learning and cultural discovery.

A key highlight of the journey was our enriching **2-day exchange with VinSchool**, where students built friendships, learned from one another and shared more about **Singapore and North View Primary School culture**. Through collaborative activities, school tours and cultural exchange, our students experienced firsthand what it means to be global learners 🀝

The learning continued at a **cacao farm**, where students discovered the chocolate-making journey from bean to bar 🍫, explored the bustling **Ben Thanh Market**, enjoyed the traditional **Water Puppet Show**, sent postcards home from the iconic **Saigon Central Post Office** πŸ’Œ and visited the historic **Reunification Palace** πŸ›οΈ

Beyond the experiences and places visited, this journey nurtured independence, resilience, friendships and a deeper appreciation for culture and history.

During this week’s assembly, Northviewans enjoyed an engaging programme by PLAYInc in collaboration with the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB). Through humour and meaningful storytelling, students learnt important lessons about the dangers of drug abuse: how drugs can harm both the mind and body, and how their impact extends to loved ones too. Most importantly, students were encouraged to find positive and meaningful goals to live for.

A big thank you to PLAYInc and CNB for sharing such a powerful message in a fun, memorable, and impactful way! πŸ’›

πŸŒ±β™» How can small actions create BIG change? Our Sustainability Leaders are showing us how! πŸ’š

Last Friday, our Sustainability Leaders came together to reflect on their class’s paper recycling
efforts and shared the positive habits they have observed among their classmates. From celebrating little eco wins to thinking of ways to recycle even better, our young leaders put their observations into action!

Working in pairs, they created presentations that they will soon share with their classes to
inspire others to recycle more mindfully and care for the environment. 🌎
