🌿✨ What happens when learning extends beyond the classroom and families become part of the adventure?

As part of our Term 1 theme, "My Family", our children and parents embarked on a special learning journey to West Coast Park! 💚

Together, families explored nature through an exciting treasure hunt, searching for natural materials hidden throughout the park. Armed with curiosity and teamwork, parents and children worked side by side to collect their treasures before transforming them into beautiful crafts. 🍃🎨

More than just a fun day outdoors, this meaningful experience encouraged creativity, exploration, communication, and collaboration while creating precious memories between parents and children.

🌿 Learning comes alive when little explorers step outdoors! ☀️💚

Our children had a wonderful time discovering the world around them through meaningful outdoor learning experiences. As they explored nature, they shared their observations, asked thoughtful questions, and engaged in conversations with their peers and teachers, building their confidence and communication skills along the way. 🍃

The fun didn't stop there! Through balancing activities and jumping in and out of hula hoops, our young learners also strengthened their gross motor skills, body coordination, and confidence in movement. 💪

This June holiday, our SCC students from Ngee Ann Primary School embarked on an exciting learning journey to Mandai Wildlife Reserve, where they explored the wonders of River Wonders and Bird Paradise.

From observing fascinating wildlife up close to discovering different habitats and ecosystems, the students were encouraged to ask questions, make observations, and deepen their understanding of the natural world. These hands-on experiences help nurture curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for learning. 💛

Most importantly, it was a day filled with exploration, friendship, and unforgettable memories!

From observing fascinating animals and colourful birds to discovering different habitats and ecosystems, the students were immersed in meaningful learning beyond the classroom.Excursions like these encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for nature while creating wonderful memories with friends.
