It was a pleasure to share our students’ learning with you - from our hydroponics garden to the P1 Makers Faire and PE lessons. We are glad you could see how our students put values like kindness and service into action.

Your encouragement means a lot to our students and staff. We will continue to nurture both character and learning in all that we do.

Lianhe Zaobao Newspaper Article on 15 March 2026

On 15 March, Lianhe Zaobao printed an article that featured the special extended MTL teaching in MOE Kindergarten @ Hougang. This 30-minute extended mother tongue class shows that children not only have increased enthusiasm for learning but also greater confidence in using their mother tongue to communicate. The pilot program is currently a collaboration with the National Institute of Education at Nanyang Technological University to further verify the effectiveness of extending mother tongue class hours on young children's mother tongue learning. "Brewing Creativity: Coffee as Art" is a must-see exhibition featuring students' innovative exploration of coffee as a painting medium. Think outside the box (or cup 😉) and discover how everyday materials can become extraordinary art!

Join us in celebrating our young artists' creativity, hard work, and fearless experimentation! We invite ALL parents, families, and art lovers to visit the exhibition and show your support!
