Think of it like building a house:

💽 Disk → The land
📦 Partition → Separate plots
🧱 Physical Volume (PV) → Building blocks
🏗️ Volume Group (VG) → Storage pool
📂 Logical Volume (LV) → Flexible rooms
🗄️ Filesystem → Organization system
📍 Mount Point → The front door users access

Storage flow:

Disk → Partition → PV → VG → LV → Filesystem → Mount Point

Firewalld zones make Linux firewall management much easier 🔥

Instead of managing every rule individually, Firewalld groups traffic into zones based on trust levels.

🟢 Trusted → Allow almost everything
🔵 Internal → Trusted internal networks
🟡 Public → Default for untrusted networks
🟠 DMZ → Public-facing servers
🔴 Block → Reject all incoming traffic
⚫ Drop → Silently ignore incoming traffic

Simple rule:

Public → Internal → Trusted

As trust increases, more traffic is allowed.
